The DPAM is the aviation low battery indicator model. I've never seen the Wilcox ball detent mount thing. That would be cool to have on the PVS-31 because I liked the ball detent.

@@kloohn no doubt, but an adapter that slides onto the dovetail that converts it to the anvis ball detent is what I'm referring to. Sounds like Wilcox makes something like that.

Adams industries made one before they went out of business, I have one. I can get you one from where I got mine. I can literally run a housing with dovetail even a pvs 14 on ball and detent. The only downside is you don’t get the functionality of ball and detent

So just for sake of compatibility and efficiency, is it recommended that someone would get a 3 hole shroud? Instead of just bolting a 4 hole? Because I have been looking online for a 4 hole shroud for my airframe and I get squat...

@@andy366919 well, from my understanding. You can't. Maybe you could contact a company like wills optics which has some stuff not sold by other company's. Iys a similar dilemma to buying 31s. You can own them but L3 will not repair them if broken and will not sell to the public or allow thier authorized dealers to sell to the public.
