I like to be minimal in the things I purchase. For example, buy a mascara, use it fully up, then buy a new one. But a maximalist in style and decor in my home! Like you said, there is so much color in the world and it effects your mind! One gray and miserable winter day I looked at my gray walls and felt like if I changed them then the outside wouldn't be so bad to look at. Boy was I right! Now every room in my house is a different color and I've been loving making each space uniquely it's own. Still working on my closet. Wanting to be more minimal but keeping color and diversity because it helps my mental health! Also not allowing myself to buy anymore black clothes to hide my body helps immensely too!

Oh and as for heat here in Australia , well Perth WA anyway we get to 40 deg on some very Hot Summer days it’s disgusting !!! Thank God for Airconditioning . There are people here that have moved from the UK and love this heat and even go to the Scorching Beach on days like this ah NO I have no idea how they stand it xx

I kind of think after that kind of date if no one texts each other after no harm done. But he clearly had a different idea of the date than you! About the reviews: If this is a serious dating app - as in people are looking for long-term-relashionships, it wouldn't make sense to only leave reviews if you either fell in love or if he was rude in any way (in the last case you should absolutely comment that). I think in most cases people are nice enough - but you just only click with certain people. He was clearly not interested in you and neither were you in him. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. No harm done. - So I think it would only be kind to leave a comment like "nice guy, but we didn't click".

Hey Lauren, good job on the clear out (so far). I totally get the overwhelm, even though you know the end result will be so much better for your peace of mind. Proud of you for the way you handled his 'request'. A real estate agent who runs our neighbourhood FaceBook group sent me a message asking me to go to his professional page and recommend him. I mean, really?
