Great video. Do you know how to remove the shackle? I saw a shack to the 141 that was removed from the rest of the lock. I didn't see it done however and the person who did it was NOT a lock smith.

I have not tried. I don't image it can be done without drilling somewhere on the body

Thanks for this great little video. Can you do a video on picking common warded locks without using a warded lock pick set? Or are warded locks difficult to pick with pin tumbler tools?

@@HelpfulLockPicker yes exactly! I've found myself needing to pick my own cheap master warded lock but failed as I don't own warded lock picks and finally resorted to cutting my chain instead. I felt so silly cutting the chain and being defeated by a simple warded lock. I had forgotten my key and wasn't worth it to return.

They are fun when they work and I recommend you grab a set. Don't spend too much though because they all do the same time

I have a few Chinese locks that the comb picks work well on. A warning to anyone looking for a cheap set of comb picks. Do NOT purchase the set sold on the Bangood site. It does not have a four pin comb. The great majority of locks that can be defeated with a comb pick, have four pins. The Bangood set is useless. Maybe try Sparrows if you want comb picks.

Does anyone know if this still works? I have this master lock (141D) and recently misplaced both my keys. I'm literally locked out of my closet and need to know if this is still viable or if I should just message the company on if they can even give me a replacement key even though I purchased through amazon. :(

These combs can be simply another tool for the bag of tricks but like the lock you show here they will only work on the really bad locks including some small Brinks.

Yes, that method of bypassing a lock shouldn't exist, especially on a lock made by a company the size of Master! When companies worry *only* about $$, their products and customers pay the price.
