Yo Bro, I hope u can reply my comment 🙏 I was worked in protools for many times . Yesterday I've tried the method you gave with the same kick type, even with the same volume settings , but why my kick so quite ? and that's very different than yours , your kick still loud Bro. I mean why is my kick volume not as loud as yours? Please Help Me Devvon 🙏

What informed your decision to trim all the instrumental tracks in the playlist down by -3.5dB? Was it to avoid clipping/distortion? Create consistency across all tracks? Creating headroom for mixing? Aiming for a particular dB when it comes to mix is processing?

@DrOtumboАй бұрын
When in the video did he trim? Did he do it on the faders or some other way?
@iamjordanpassАй бұрын
@@DrOtumbo if you look at the stems in the playlist you’ll see in the bottom left corner it says -3.5dB. This was all done before recording. The reason I asked is because I’m toying with the idea of trying to aim for a ball park figure for output throughout my workflow for optimum levels and gain staging.

Hi devvon,thank you for what you are doing,i have one question,what are you no using the blackbox no more on your drumbus??is it because of its curve?or just you don,t need it no more for loudness??

this gave me a gem for sure, 7:30 time stamp, i have my template setup quite similar to yours, and i get stuck on trying to get out of the production stage, as im sure alot of people would do, mixing as they are producing, to hear you say that you use the BUS TRACK to do your mixing so you dont destory the sound and vibe you made during production is new to me keep in mind im super new to Mixing and Producing but i do love to LEARN and when you said this a light bulb switch on please correct me if im wrong
