It would be interesting to open the old switch to see what broke and if you can repair vs replace it. My guess is the cable assembly at the rear window got kinked or binding in some way. Time to pull the rear seat out!

That’s a lock behind the seat belt and it looks stuck brother. Same as mine

I had the same issue on my 2013! I took it to Sunroof King in Houston to replace the dry rotted tracks for my sunroof. They said it was $450 to replace the motor on the rear sliding window. Decided to give it a shot at home! I bought the switch from Amazon and it still didn’t work. Checked the rear sliding window motor and come to find out it was left disconnected from when Sunroof King checked it. Reconnected it and now my rear sliding window works with the new switch! Check the motor is getting power and the metal cables are still probable attached!
