Love this, Julie. Sidebars don't get enough attention so love this! Also love you in the Hemlock and Oak - the minimalist look is definitely your esthetic so excited to keep seeing how you're using it in the coming months

Hi, just wondering how wide the columns are in this planner? If you were using a kit on the days would you go for a hobonichi cousin width or a 1.5 width sticker?
@plan2create2 жыл бұрын
I love the thinner HC kits on all the pages because I like a little breathing room around them, but you can def use the 1.5” here! ☺️

Thank you, Robyn! I typically take a break this time of year.. on top of that, we’ve just moved and our daughter is getting married this weekend!! So, other things have occupied my time but hopefully I’ll have some ideas to share in the months ahead!

Love your sidebar. Great to see you incorporating information from your goal pages to your weekly. I love TPS goals system. Previously my goals were just wishes 😆 Hoping I action the steps daily/weekly/monthly using my planner
@plan2create2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I am so inspired by TPS' goals system. It's not HARD, but it does take a lot of thought for me to break things down like that, so I love that I can model after her system to get me rolling. We can do it, Tracey! :)

I love your sidebar. It’s always so pretty and functional. I have such a long to-do list for work every week that I’m struggling to figure out how to make my sidebar work and fit all the things I’d like to track. I was thinking about using the monthly planning page in the front for a running to-do list, but I’m afraid if I can’t see it all week, it will be a bit “out of sight, out of mind.” If you have any suggestions, I’d love your input. I did order some ¼ and ½ column boxes from TPS (along with so many other things) in an attempt to make more sections…
@plan2create2 жыл бұрын
Oooh, that's a good challenge. My first thought would be to add it on the monthly planning page, but I'm the same as you - out of sight, out of mind. Could you break it into different sections and spread it across the bottom? Are any of the tasks day specific?
@unwindknitting2 жыл бұрын
@@plan2create This week, I did the week number and one of TPS’s deco boxes and then added a to-do list, but single spaced it to maximize the space on the side bar. That might be enough room for the work specific list. The personal to-do items, I’m trying to add to my bottom lists - most of those are really errands, things to buy, home tasks, etc. The slight spacing change might make all the difference (why am I surprised that going from double to single spacing doubles the number of items you can fit??). I’ll know at the end of the week. I do have a few day specific tasks, but when I add them to the day column, I feel like things get cluttered and messy looking. I’m not sure how to balance my desire for white space and pretty with function!

Thanks for the video. I have a dated H&O also. Did you move out of your hobo cousin?
@plan2create2 жыл бұрын
Oh, cool! Isn't it a beautiful planner? Are you using it as your main planner? I have officially moved out of the HC. I just love this paper so much in the H+O.

Don’t forget that being a SAHM is a job. 😁. I’m guessing you have a baby- your schedule will get so much busier as your child(ren) grow and start having their own schedules that you are keeping track of. My planner is my brain. Lol. In the meantime, Tracey had some great suggestions. Like Julie, I set goals each month, and I use my planner to prompt me to do the things that I’ve chosen as important.

@@faten4075 four kids- you are a busy mama. Never discount the importance of what you are doing. You are shaping four human beings!
