I love love love this video! Took notes, I’m going to incorporate not only layout ideas, but I adore how you’re approaching home projects and things to buy! So many fresh perspectives and tips! I love how you closed with not everything turns out perfect the e first time, I have tried the weekly three times in January with limited success! I’ve incorporated so many of your ideas into my Take A Note planner and I’m listening to your advice about tweaking the spreads every week. I ordered some inks and a little meal stamp. I’ve become a bit obsessed with having just the right sticker colors (I might have a transparent dot obsession). I found some Japanese print-on stickers and they are so thin! You can’t even feel them through the Tomoe River paper! It’s a work in progress, but I’m trying to learn to embrace the process and that it doesn’t have to be perfectly Instagram-worthy to be functional.

Thank you for watching, Stephanie! I might have that same transparent dot obsession, lol. Japanese print-on stickers? You'll have to share where you found them! I've never heard of them. Sounds like you're keeping a good perspective through the process! I want to keep stretching myself.. just when I get comfortable with my process, I ask myself what else I could do to improve!

I love to see your pages but love it even more when I hear your thought process. I’ve eventually decided at age 49 to stop focusing on the numbers and instead focus on feeling good and incorporating healthy habits that work towards this. Really pleased so far (early days) and enjoying using my planner to support this. Love the page flags for flexibility, will you write in once done? Thanks for sharing Julie 😘

Thank you so much, Tracey and it sounds like we are on the same page health-wise! I'm not sure if I'll write my filming days in on my monthly.. maybe just a little icon? Since I don't love it to be too jumbled. I'm definitely using the sticky notes as a way to identify a day where it works for my schedule to tackle the filming (ideally no other appts and hubby is out of pocket). ;) I might write in our hiking days after the fact just for reference!

They're red for Japanese holidays. I wish there was a way to cover them up but 🤷🏻‍♀Have yet to find a sticker shop (I'm new to the Hobo system) that would let me sticker up the entire top of the monthlies xD My holidays are different from American and Japanese holidays so I definitely want something to cover them up (plus I'm not a fan of red Sundays 😅).

Yah, I don't even think I'd want the bulk of stickers to cover it all up so I'm trying my best to ignore, lol!!
