Agh this scene goes down in the history books for me as one of the best scenes in Neighbours! It was so brilliant and gut-wrenching! Only Neighbours death I've cried over! And I LOVED the Troye Sivan song at the end! What an iconic was to have the last death on Neighbours!

When he was first introduced, I couldn't stand Hendrix but gradually as he changed, I really warmed to him. This scene was such a hard watch and I was so sad that he was killed off. I'll be so gutted when the time comes to say goodbye to Neighbours

When MacKenzie said thank you for loving me to hendrix that was the saddest thing hendrix loved MacKenzie for her he understood her to have her boyfriend die was heart breaking at first I didn't like hendrix but as hendrix character grew he started to become mature when he started going out with MacKenzie I started to like his character and the way he cared for MacKenzie. Things happen in life real or not it still doesn't stop us from having feelings .

I kept leaving the room for the episode it was the saddest thing. Mum said he’d probably die and when he was talking about getting pets I realised it was too good to be true and he was doomed.

Yeah haha, I had a feeling he would die coz it just seemed like they were tying up all his loose ends (eg. having him get married, tour of his life) and when they annouced he was just fine after surgery and were being waaay to optimisic about it (and not dragging it out in a typical Neighbours way) I knew he was doomed haha coz they did the same thing with Matt.

The actor wanted to reportly. To have the full soap experience. It is important for actors to be given the opportunity to prove themselves. The movie, The Beat My Heart Skipped, lead to Romain Duris being offered big budget movies. The film allowed Duris to prove himself as an actor; the role was quite challenging and needed the full range of emotions.

The whole thing was a meaningless soundbite to excuse accusations of transphobia after they made a big deal about having a transgender character get married and then ripping it away from her straightaway. They actually tried to blame the actor for their poor storylining!

@@stephaniemcquillan1930 He didn't need to. He could have stuck around for the rest of the show (all seven weeks of it) or he could have just gone away for a bit. They even had him continuing to appear in video messages for the rest of the show and had him RIGHT THERE in the last episode on the street with the rest of them. All they needed to do was have him right there ALIVE. There was no need to kill the character at all.

Neighbours was expensive to produce and was not able to bring its costs down to make it viable on the budget Channel 5 had allowed for it. Hollyoaks has the entire cast and crew on very limited contacts and is made very cheaply, even the actor who plays Tony is on the same rate as everyone else.

Basically, the immune system sees the foreign organ as an invader and starts attacking it, destroying the organ. A transplant recipient has to take anti rejection drugs for the rest of their life, which teach the immune system not to attack the new organ but on occasions, they don't work as the immune system just gets around them. Once they've finished destroying the new organ, the person dies. His lungs were destroyed to the point where they stopped working.

Hm, that's a good question. My guess (plz note I'm a film student with no clue how science works) is probably that if the body rejects the lungs, it's as if you have no lungs, so I guess you can't breathe? idk.

Completely unnecessary. Another terrible creative decision, betraying the audience that invested in the couple for the sake of cheap drama. The show was nearly over, there was no need to kill Hendrix at all. And the only explanation we get is that pathetic "Georgie wanted a full soap experience", as if somehow the people who wanted them to have a happy ending are the ones in the wrong.
