i am 67. i love most AH films. i ADORE those early films with her wearing Givenchy . THE scene in Gastad at the top of your favorite film knocks my feet off. she is just as chic as it gets! and it is not only her but of course her costume that made her so. Two For the Road became a favorite for all kinds of reasons. the cast, the story, (i am retired actress). the car..... i have stopped it and taken pictures of her outfits! Henry i wish you a huge success in your chosen profession. i think you are one in a many million and whom ever you dress will be so lucky to have you do so. may the best of luck come your way. with your passion i'm sure it will.

I saved your video to watch over again ... Last night, while watching Charade with my Mom, my eyes were on Audrey's shoes in the night club. I enjoyed your video a great deal. It's lovely to see someone your age who is so interested in the past, enjoying collecting with a fresh eye and a genuine enthusiasm for good design and innovation. When I use the word innovation I relate it to having a sense of humor about the work as well as an experience of joy in craftsmanship. I'm an artist, graphic designer, and musician who began collecting at an early age, mostly printed ephemera, early sheet music, classical as well as broadway from the '20s, '30s, and '40s, and anything else that I found that represented a sense of clever creation, wit, and beauty. I'm anxious to watch more of your video, to follow your exploration and collecting. Keep those eyes peeled, as they say, for the next collectible.

It’s inspiring to see how important fashion, costume design, Audrey Hempburn, preservation of clothes and most of all Givenchy is to you. I learned so much. Thank you.

Oh Henry, that pink dress!💕 It reminds me of the dress that got away. It wasn't couture or worn by anyone famous. I was shopping for clothes for my honeymoon and came across a silver sequence halter dress, very simple and VERY HEAVY! I put it on and felt like a million dollars!!! My friend and the sales lady gushed, but it was WAY out of my budget. The sales lady was almost in tears...but I just couldn't afford it. To this day, 27 yrs. later, I wonder who bought my dress.😞 I'm so glad you were able to aquire those lovely pieces and that they mean more to you than just being a piece of couture clothing. They give significance to the past, and are memorials to those who possessed and wielded the divine spark of creating something beautiful, they are art.💕

It's amazing that you found it on eBay, especially if you mean the British eBay site as opposed to the American one. I would have loved seeing it displayed on a mannequin so that you could have pointed out some of its details.
