Well done Henry - I haven’t got bored with you like I have a lot of photography KZbin channels. The fact that you use similar gear to the majority of us (Sony A6700 in my case) makes it more relatable allied to your natural enthusiasm plus you don’t seem to be constantly inviting the viewer to “comment below” which we all know is just to appease the KZbin gods. Keep it up! 😊👊🏻🍻

I love the oak leaf square crop shot. So easy, when in glorious surroundings, to miss those intimate details.

Another awesome video. Thank You. The OM 5 was a purchase after watching your review and purchasing my own. I absolutely love it. I know it has traveled with me and I have gotten some awesome shots with it. Like you, I use Nikon, primarily, but the light weight OM5 has made it a more used camera. Thanks again.

Good to see the OM-5 again.

Hi Henry, it's been a while since I've commented but I have watched and liked every video you've put out since you were in New Zealand. I'm in my mid 70s and watching you videos always encourages me to get out with my camera. So I want to take this opportunity to say thank you and well done. Another nice video and images 👍

Thanks so much Len, I appreciate the support especially for so long and cheers for taking the time to leave a comment!

Thanks, Henry, these were some of the best photos in my opinion, on one of your walks. I think the sheep would make a great photo in next years calendar.

Did the Cumbria Way in 1999. Stayed in Coniston, Langdale, Keswick and Caldbeck, walking (slowly) over five days. Langdale to Keswick and Keswick to Caldbeck was soooo wet, but the scenery was spectacular. The last day into Carlisle was a bit of an anti-climax. If I were to do it again, I think I would go north to south. Great memories though. Photos then were on an Olympus Mu 35mm compact. Now dappling with Lumix M43 and the OM Systems pro lens, which is amazing. Thanks for sharing your Autumn day, and for the lovely 2025 calendar.

Great looking little lone tree on the horizon at 11:36, framed by a lovely cloud. That's the type of shot I seek out whenever I'm out😀

Hi Henry, great to see lovely blue sky, fluffy clouds and sensational colours of the trees and bracken. At present in Sheffield the sky is heavily cloaked in stratus and has been for many days. I'm usually prepared to be out with my camera in all kinds of weather, but I think I've lost the heart a wee bit because of the persistent cloud cover. Just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the first glint of sunlight; my gear is packed and ready for the off. Thank you for sharing your walk around Coniston Water, Henry. My favourite photograph are the two oak leaves; it says it all.

I love the fact that so many of the Olympus lenses focus close so I can get those close, intimate shots as well as landscape shots. Another great video, Henry!

Hi Henry, great video, mate! You demonstrated so well that it is not all about the camera or the sensor size to get good photos. And these MFT sensors have got quite good meanwhile, I have to say 😊 Thank you for the video and nice greetings, Christian

I've only bought one lens from MPB, but it was in better condition than described! It was only listed as Good but it looked like brand new! 😮 I would definitely use them again, and I appreciate them giving back to the community by sponsoring quality content like this, cheers MPB 👍

Glad you’re out with the OM5, Henry! I used my EM1 mk iii yesterday, which was my fav camera. Found I was wishing I had the OM5 instead with me!!! It’s become my fav camera! I wear glasses, but have tried contact lenses. Didn’t work for me, but know the joy when you can actually see! To switch between EVF and Live View on OM5, Menu: Cog wheel I [i], EVF Auto Switch, On2. Then when you move your eye from EVF to LV, it comes on, and vice versa.

You need to head down south for the colour. We didn’t get the same hit from the storms and the colour started later so still plenty of colour around with the Oaks only just colouring up now.

Hi Henry, another grand day out thanks for sharing ... ah yes the old D7200, good old faithful and a shame it had to be retired due to an early bath. Wonderful light and a super setting, particularly at Kelly Hall Tarn. I have to admit that going between cameras is hard enough, never mind from FF to M4/3 ... it'd give me bad case of "maths headache" depending on what I was used to using most of the time.
@kenharnish5778Ай бұрын
Thanks for the video. Congratulations on getting your vision. A couple of questions, how far did you hike? And how do you dress for fall weather? I find it frustrating to deal with fall temperatures. Great images.

Every time I watch one of your brilliant videos I wish I lived somewhere around your area. Those walls and houses and fences made of old stones are just amazing, and then there are all those hills and lakes and the whole scenery, so fascinating. You should not only put the beautiful photo with the sheep in your next calendar but every other photo as well. A 365 day calendar maybe?

In the Montréal ,Québec, Canada area we had a couple nights of solid frost and most of the leaves have fallen off the trees. But today we got up to record temperatures, 24C. Great day for Halloween!

I'd never even noticed Kelly Hall Tarn on the map before - what a little gem! The "big gaff belonging to some Victorian gent" is, I think, Brantwood, the country home of John Ruskin. Ruskin was a very important figure in his day, being an artist, poet, and critic. The house is open to visitors and I think you'd enjoy seeing his paintings of the area which are on display. Something to do when conditions are not right for photography.

Om5 on the list if OM offers a great Black Friday sale (camera or camera and lens combo)! Would seriously look at MPB, but they (US site) don’t ship to Canada without a lot of fuss (you have to deal with customs etc instead of them doing so as some vendors do). Wonderful video!
