Yelling "Shotgun" comes from the Old West when the person in the passenger seat of a stagecoach would be carrying a shotgun for protection. "I can never read that guy..." Multiple Universes (or Multiverse) has long since been thoroughly debunked. It's fun to fantasize about such a concept in a purely fictional context, but there's only one universe and we live in it (so deal with it people). Also, according to the rules set forth in the official and abridged series, the horrifying implications is that Trunks travels to a different universe every time he uses his "time" machine. Multiverse travel in DBZ and DBZ Abridged is stupid times a billion.
