Sadly, not everyone wins the parental lottery. I've been homeless before. And I didn't even THINK about calling my parents, because I'd rather sleep in the lobby at the post office again than have anything to do with them. Not that their help anyway, but even if they did, being the abusive trash they are, my parent's "help" would come at a cost no one should have to pay. It sucks, but that's what it is. Unfortunately, some kettle just don't have that safety net, and because of it, their car more kindly to end up in situations like this where they're being exploited. Statistically most people can't afford to support themselves and another person. Yea I remember a guy in highschool telling us he was molested by his friends aunt at their sleep over. He explained it very detailed and I asked why he didn't say anything. He did everyone kept insisting he enjoyed it because it was an older lady doing it. I went through this exact situation last year around this time where my patient died, and I lost my job and my landlord made the same offer. I packed my stuff that I could threw away the rest away and moved into a shelter. It was a struggle, but now being in my own place that I’ve worked hard on my own feels so rewarding.

Or on other occasions my mom would take us to my aunts or my dad would take us to my uncle or to his cousin's house. My mom took us out of the country to my grandmother's and left in order to come back. We've had to live in a hotel. My mom took us to a women's shelter. So, yes I've been homeless but I at least had some type of shelter. As an adult now, no but I have been evicted with my family due to unreasonable demands from the new landlord. Or in situations where the landlord was an absent landlord and didn't want to fix the problems in the unit. I've literally had two days to try and find a house.

I'm going to pray for her. I lost my job and it's scary decisions knowing what little options you do have and those options do not come with safety. My heart sunk listening to her voice. Having someone use your body is such a degrading and damaging thing. I just got done watching a video about modeling in different countries (India, Ukraine, Russia, Africa etcetc) and they specifically go to places where people can barely afford living and aim straight for the little girls. It's all a system. I don't think she should stay. I think she should give that apartment up before the 12 days and live out of her car while she save her money. My uncle was the maintenance man / handyman . At his landlord units so of course my uncle was living there free but my uncle told me that most of the women in the apartments we'll be the ones that bring up sex to the landlord first for them to save themselves from getting evicted. If a landlord made an offer like that, I would take it straight to the police, but that's just me. You can't enforce an illegal contract, so even if you "paid" in this way, the paperwork wouldn't reflect it and you could be evicted any time.
