@@HomegrownTyrone Morena didnt hide that fact, the first option the she gave Borksen was just being her ally, yes or no, right away, and only when Borksen prompted her for more information to make the choice, is when Morena offered the game, plus Borksen for sure considered the option of just not playing the game, but they are surrounded by multiple guards on all sides, and are a known mob, she was kidnapped so likely assumes that trying to not play will lead to a breakdown of negoiations and thus combat, which shes for sure going to lose. and the game is the only option presented to her that gives any way to gain information and possibly live, its not that she doesnt know she cant play, but that morena has given her no other option but to play

These **are** difficult conditions to clear, but it's trivialized by the fact that Meruem is literally genetically superior to humans. Netero's ability needs him to form a prayer movement to perform a singular attack with the Buddhisatva statue. For any other hunter, this would be a terrible condition to activate because it would take too long. Netero trivializes this by being the only human capable moving his hands at supersonic speed. My point being that the restrictions on these abilities **are** difficult to clear, but they have been surpassed by their respective characters, which is why these characters are so powerful.

Crackpot theory: The reason why Morena’s Dogman ability was so incredibly vital to her kidnapping plan wasn’t because of ease of transportation, but because she’s aware of the Beyond conspiracy and doesn’t want to interfere!!! I.E. Morena knows that there is a Beyond child among the 4th prince’s circle of friends, but doesn’t know who it is. So she needed Dogman to identify who amongst them was a non-nen user (because odds are whoever is a nen user among them is Beyond’s agent!) Hell, odds are that Beyond actively recruited her, and it is the chaos that she will create that will be the opening that Beyond will use to escape the black whale!!! Note: I know that one of the kidnappers had a nen ability that transport non-nen users, but like the 4th prince’s childhood friends mentioned in this chapter, there are quite a few ways to pull off a kidnapping even without the use of nen(I.e. the transporter’s nen ability makes the plan easier, but not impossible to pull off). Hell, the fact that Togashi brings attention to this fact kinda suggests to me that the transporter’s limit to his nen ability is a red herring.

Waiting for the official translation this, coupled with the fact that she repeatedly says the longer this goes on the worse it gets for both sides, as well as the fact that a specific condition of ending on the X card means that Morena can no longer pursue negotiations with Borksen in the future makes me think this wasn't the first time Borksen played. The only thing is that this would mean Borksen has also never won the game, by ending on the X card.

Credit to this channel for hyping up Morena! I am so invested in this ark. There are so many moving pieces! Only a passionate writer with a vision can weave these sup plots into the major plot seamlessly. Then Morena will get really angry and ask Sadam to heal Borksen while she and Beyond head outside the room to fight. Then Phinks and Feitan will arrive and Sadam will plead with them to wait until he finishes healing Borksen. Phinks will get mad but Feitan will calm him down. Later in the arc, Phinks will sacrifice everything for a power-up and kill Sadam.

If I understand it right Morena might be able to have her request happen no matter what, with the only possible exception being the 'R' card. She could have multiple requests lined up and depending on the remaining card will decide the request. An Idea for a request that I think Morena has will be along the lines of being Borksen being a body double for Morena. For the 'Yes' card she can just ask her request. For the 'No' card she just has to ask for the opposite of her request. For the 'Joker' card she just has to ask the request in such a way that either answer would make her request happen, or choose to fully commiting to doing something or not doing something would help her plans. For the 'X' card she would just have to ask the request that makes her sit on the fence and not being able to help or hinder. For the 'R' card either she has a request that is worded in such a way that any response advantageous for Morena or is so minor that makes playing the game pointless.

And then he could even mid game flip it on her in order to force her to give him Contagion, too. And then with the hatsu gained by level, this could be a way for him to gain 3 abilities at once.

Anyone can "initiate" someone into being a nen user. That was a major part of the Chimera Ant's plan to take over the world. Hell, it's what Kurapika and Bill have been doing since they teamed up. Whether it fails to generate a level is a mystery and dependent on Morena's definition of a "nen user".

The first trap of the card game is Placing yourself as the parent and the other person as "a child". Automatically you're the winner here, the parent will always guide the child to the desired outcome, everything else is just a pacification attempt and allowances for indulgences.

I firmly believe that this "card game" will foreshadow some significant plot development in the future chapters of HxH. As some other fans pointed out: Gunghi that was introduced in the chimera ant arc, was used as a narrative tool to foreshadow the palast invasion and most importantly Meruems demise.

So let me get this straight about this card game 1. So basically it starts of as a child and parent game ie Morena the parent and borksen the child 2. Parent has 7 total cards faceup while the child has 5 total cards facedown 3. The parent has a request that is either given a yes or no response that is only answered with the last facedown card the child has left 4. The child asks a question to the parent and depending on the card depends on the type and number of questions asked 5. As each question gets answered the child loses 1 of the facedown cards along with the parent losing one of their face up cards, of course depending on the return card, they could ask 1 more question along with keeping the answer they want in the end for the parents request 6. So in this game, it's a double edged sword for both, or so it seems, borksen finds out much more about Morena through questions being asked, but depending on borksens final card will all depend on if she leaves or joins Morenas troupe, that goes for Morena too, but I see her being the true Victor in this game

That's the gist I got too. The risks that Morena takes make this ability very strong. This ability (if it is a nen ability) is obviously pseudo coercive... but I'm willing to bet that it becomes fully coercive if Borksen breaks the rules... or that the punishment if akin to what Theta is suffering.

The card game mechanics were a nice callback to Greed Island, but also makes me think of how Togashi wanted to make a card game manga after he finishes Hunter x Hunter, which now probably seems unlikely. Also Borksen looks like Kacho lol xd If Chapter 410 is the end of this batch before it goes on break or hiatus again, I hope Togashi makes these last 3 chapters count
