I’m so sad I discovered them only last month. I wish I knew them like at least 2 years ago, and then I could say I was their number one fan. I wish I could have seen them in live, I wish I could have sung their song and spread their music to all my city. It’s fun the way i knew them: i was only seeing a painting video and the creator just put “What Once Was” in the background and I was curious to hear more about the song. Funny how I thought “Her’s” was a only one singer, haha. So i looked up for some more music of Her’s and I became addicted to their songs, really. I can’t stop listening to them. I forgot every song I had in my playlist and I started downloading all their songs I found on youtube, I saw all their live sessions, tried to find all their interview. Really, i love all their songs. All. I imagine to sing them in public even though I’m shy and I’m can’t sing professionally. I told about them to my best friend, who has similar tastes as me, and everyday I annoy him about how much I love Her’s. I wanted to know them before they were gone. Every day and every night, I think about them and how they happy were. I saw every post on their instagram, and everytime I go to it, i always watch that “Reed Spacer” tutorial o the highlights and I complain about how good Stephen was and I’ll never reach his level. And everytime I watch some of their videos I stare at Audun’s hands, beacuse he played bass like he was a god. They were spectacular. Incredibly phenomenal. They still had a lot to give, and I’m sure if they were alive, I wouldn’t never be disappointed about their stuff. Gosh they were just so great. I also told my parents about them (my mum thinks she’s heard the news in march, but she doesn’t remember well) and my dad got obsessed with Harvey. I’ve never got so attached to a band before. Damn, it’s hard to see their young faces, see them talking about how excited they were, see them playing their instruments, and talking about them. I’m going to tell about them to my children (hoping I’ll have), to my husband, to my friends. Play their songs on the stereo so hard and get shouted at my face I disturbed my neighbours’ nap. RIP guys. Hope I’ll meet you in Heaven. (sorry for some eventual mistakes but I’m italian)

I have really discovered Her's only a few days ago from now and i was already regretting this delay that immediately then, i've been informed of their passing by the youtube comments. Since then, i feel just like you described it, strangely empty and not really there, the heart shattered and my thougts are constantly away, flowing to these lads, their smiling faces and wonderful songs that litteraly haunt me... I'm in the same process as you of trying to get to know them better and better every day, and that's how i realized the incredible value of these people and musicians. They were so joyful and genuine, definitely kind of genius i think and will be missed forever by their fans, their loved ones, the world. Thanks for your text, I found myself there a lot 🙏❤ )*:

le coup de soleil sometimes something strange happens to me. I listen to a very unpopular song but when it becomes famous, when every radio station plays it, I get tired of it. but with her's it's just to different, they are in another dimension, they are simply unique. I feel like I would never be sick of any of their songs and it freaking makes me happy when I see that more people (in this case you) are getting to know them. I just want people to know them because they deserve this, they just didn't have the chance to do more, so they have to be known for that less they did. and I am so glad you answered me, thank you. I really hope you'll never get tired of them❤️ much love from italy!!!

It is closing in on a full year now when I found these two amazing souls. Listening to Cool With You was just an amazing trip for me, I would play this every other week when I went to visit my ex-gf at the time. Finding their next song Harvey was amazing. I always enjoyed the idea of it being more about a friend who is there no matter what. Listening to the rest of their songs just sends me into another place. Their sound is so unique and only theirs. Listening to this one this morning made me sad and nearly tearful over their deaths. I am truly happy to have found this group. Even though I only found them recently, I have to say that I feel connected in some way. May your souls find peace.
