Thanks for the link. I consider animal abuse just as bad, if not worse, than elderly and child abuse. ALL 3 groups are vulnerable and can't properly communicate their suffering. AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I am SO pissed off right now!!!

It being bashed by everyone. Look at the comments portraying her as an evil person. People judging her because of what someone else says. She is sick. Not just because of mental health but physically. She has no one, all she had was her animals and all she wanted was to die surrounded by what she cherished the most. It is true it got out of hand but she is a woman who weighs less than 100 pounds she’s deaf she can’t walk she has three brain tumors that she cannot tell the difference between reality and fiction. It makes it sad because she was a great doctor. She has her medical degree but because of her brain, the point is all she wanted to do was die surrounded by what she cherish the most she didn’t want to be bashed because she’s not a bad person.

@@user-kl2mq8rb5b. Literally what is the point of this comment? You think animal hoarders and animal abusers aren’t sick in some way? And? It doesn’t excuse neglectful actions at all. This isn’t even empathy, it’s just ignorance.
@user-kl2mq8rb5b
@user-kl2mq8rb5b 2 ай бұрын
@@UtopiaMotleyI’m not saying what she did was good in anyway. I know her personally and all I am saying that actions should of been taken and they did thankfully. Right now with conversations had with her she is in denial about what happened. I’m saying that she isn’t an evil person but she is unwell physically and mentally and she needs help. When her ranch was open it was great but ever since her health started to decline and the closing of the ranch all she had was the animals. Her animals were well taken care of however after her new diagnosis this past fall it made things much harder for her. She didn’t do this with evil intentions, things just got out of hand. I’m not empathizing or justifying what she did. However when you cannot judge what is fantasy and what is reality you lose that sense of what is real. She thinks that her animals were in danger for only one night, which obviously isn’t true but that is how she perceived it. She doesn’t understand what is wrong but not because she doesn’t think what she did was wrong but that is what her brain is telling her. That nothing was wrong. She has no idea what is reality and what isn’t. Don’t come at me at talk down to me when you know nothing about me. All I was stating was her mental state and why she thinks the way she does. So pull back and humble yourself

Unfortunately it sounds like it is as I expected. No psych evaluation means she's not having her own mental health problems taken care of, and is entirely unable to understand the harm she's causing. For the sake of all future animals she might try to acquire, she needs to be put in a care facility.

I'm so glad the animals were rescued. I agree that there has to be much stiffer penalties. I'm not entirely sure that stiffer penalties are the entire answer. Hoarding including animals is a mental illness. it is an anxiety disorder. I'm not condoning her behavior at all. As a country we need to begin to do a much better job of dealing & treating mental illness. Maybe we would then not have animals in these horrific situations. James you are correct in thinking she will get more animals or begin to hoard something else. Sadly she can't help herself. God Bless you & everyone who stand for these poor animals who cannot speak for themselves

It sounds like like a mental health issue. People surround themselves with animals when they lose human contact or choose not to engage with other people. They think that the animals need them. The underlying issue is for her to acknowledge what has happened & to stop 'collecting' other animals. I hope there is a successful outcome. 😮❤

It is so sad for those animals to be in a situation such as being abused, neglected, starving, etc. But with that being said I believe anybody who has a sanctuary for animals or trying to get a sanctuary for animals and in the meantime being abused and therefore animal rescue has to come in it should be immediate convicted felon, in red flags that that person or persons whomever is trying to get animals back on property should be in a information catalog kind of thing as where they look up the INFO immediately of that person that animals have been taken away from that person and no longer animals to be on property therefore I think would help a little more with these beautiful animals being neglected and abused. I mean it's not fair for the animals at all. I can understand helping who have lost their mom to 2 hunters or car accidents or even to the black market. But with people who are selfishly for their own amusement keeping animals that they cannot care for need to be felon and need too be in a information catalog category if they've never been warranted for animals to be removed from their premises. I hope that makes sense????.. xoxo too you and All who are and can provide help for the animals... 🐾😘

How terrible! 😢... IMO God put us here to take care of his beautiful creations and defend and fight for those who can't. Get justice for those who been wronged, it doesn't always have to be war, or violence but standing up for what's right. Animals, children, disabled and poor and homeless are biggest targets and vets. If the rich and everyone else would come together and work towards a core goal a lot of our problems would be easier to deal with. BUT!!!...

She weighs less that 100 pounds, deaf, can’t walk, has 3 brain tumors that mess with her sense of reality and fiction but now she is the target when all she wanted was to die surround but what she loves the most, her animals. She has no family, she has no one. It wasn’t always like this. When she had the money she chose to feed them instead of herself. She let everything get out of hand and not people see her as a monster when really she has no harmful bone in her body. I don’t agree and am glad the animals a safe but it is how people target her as a monster without knowing who she is.

I'm not saying what the owner did was right or is entirely innocent, but maybe there were underlying circumstances as to why they had those animals. I can say this as I've just gone through hell myself with the dogs I had. I had three dogs Link, Rufus, and Zelda. I got them as puppies, border collie/weimaraner mix. I had appointments set up to get them fixed until covid screwed that up. Lockdown happened and well life found a way. Surprise we had puppies. I tried to get homes for them but wasn't able to give up 3 of the pups. So I went from 3 to 6. I raised them and started to get them fixed. Wasn't fast enough as a pup got with mother. Yeah more pups. I got with a local rescue and was able to get the newborn pups taken, and asked about the adult pups, but the shelter refused them. I think it was because ancouple.of the puppies had parvo. Now, I've had dogs my entire life and have never had a dog get parvo. I think one of the neighbors threw something over the fence that the pups got into and got it. So long story short this just kept getting worse and worse. I called other shelters and rescues asked for help and got turned down, got threatened that I'd have the police called on me if I brought the pups for drop off, even got ghosted by a rescue in Alabama that agreed to help then never returned my calls. Around this time I had an incident where a dog came into the gas station I worked at following behind a customer. I told the guy I didn't mind him having the dog in the store but he needed to be on a leash. Guy told me it wasn't his. So I called local law enforcement as I wasn't going to call the animal shelter as I'd had such good luck with them w8th my own dogs. The police connected me over to them anyways. I asked for them to come get the dog or to come scan it to see if it had a chip. They refused as it was a Friday evening around 6:30. They didn't do stray pickups on the weekend. I asked again for them to at least come scan it. They refused. In the end they told me to let the dog go and let it get hit by a car and then they would show up to the call. This on a busy intersection in the town I live in. That's the local animal control told me that. So when I ended up in the hospital due to a heart issue, color me stunned when they showed up asking about feral cats in my neighborhood. I volunteered that I had 6 puppies that weren't doing well and I needed them to take them. I explained the heart stuff and that I'd been asking for help. They helped themselves to the 6 pups and the rest of my dogs as well. A 14 year old that was born in the house and link, Rufus, and Zelda. All got taken. I got brought to court, animal control took it upon themselves to deem me unfit to take care of the animals and slapped me with animal cruelty and neglect. I never got served for the "trial" never got a chance to supply witnesses and evidence in my defense and had the animals I'd dropped over a thousand into taken from me. Our local animal control treated me like I was a villain and I honestly feel like I should go about being one to make them happy. Thing is I asked for help multiple times and various services and got refused. The judge even ordered me to call local law enforcement or animal control if I ever have another animal in my possession again...even after relaying the story about being told to let a fog get hit by a car by the service he told me to contact. It's been hell, and I'm now got charges on me because I cared too much to just take the dogs out and leave them somewhere. Could have left them in a parking lot or taken them to the local pond and made them alligator bait...but I didn't I kept them and tried to do things the right way through proper channels and now I'm not allowed to have pets the rest of my life because animal control deemed me not fit. So as for the owner of the animals maybe they tried to ask for help, if they didn't then that's on them. But honestly I don't know how they could let that happen. Mine were taken care of the best I could...it wasn't enough and now I'm suffering because of a service that's supposed to help refused and then made me into the bad guy. I'm not saying your animal services didn't offer help or anything but the lady might have needed more help and was scared to ask. I got overwhelmed and tried to make it right and got rejected and turned away everytime. After you try for so long eventually you just give up. I know from experience, if she actually kept them like that which seems to be the case as the report said some of those dogs were with decomposing ones, I think she should get full charges. Just my thoughts on this and my experiences as of late.

The bottom line is: if you cannot keep your animals in the conditions that they deserve then love them enough to let them go where they can. To keep animals in neglectful conditions is utter selfishness. Do what's best for that living, breathing creature. Sometimes love means letting go.

So here is the thing, not defending her what so ever because those animals needed to be taken away. However you can’t fully judge someone based off of this. You don’t know her or what she has gone through she has no one. She also has 3 brain tumors that messes with her sense of reality. She has a huge heart for animals but there is a such thing as to much. That property that they took all the animals from is not where she lives that is her farm. She only stays out there from time to time. I can say that the few people she does have will make sure she gets no more animals. My favorite part though is in the news clipping a lady said that there was a deceased dog and that she had to of stepped over this dog everyday. However, she is in a wheelchair. Make it make sense. I don’t excuse her for this but she isn’t mean, or malicious or anything, no harmful bone in her body but she just loved and “saved” to much. It was never her intention for the outcome to become what it is. Her health is very poor and although she doesn’t have much money, what she could afford she bought her animals food. Not her. This is a woman who is about 5’5” and weights less than 100 lbs. to be honest she won’t live very much longer her health is extremely bad all she wanted was to be surrounded by the things she loves most in this world. Her animals. The whole she pretended to not know what was going on isn’t all pretend that is the result of her brain tumors she can’t grasp what is reality and what is fictional.
