I just left some negative comments concerning your last review of the Crosstour before seeing this one. I am so glad you revisited the car and spent some time with it. It truly is a great vehicle. Spare tire is on the underside of the car.

I love my 2013 Crosstour. Bought it in March of 2017 at 22,000 miles. Right now in December of 2018, I'm up to 35k. Lots of life left in it and it is fun to drive. Zero complaints :)

I have the AWD 2010 and I still love it after all these years. During COVID, I’ve decided to buy deflectors and window guards to give it an aggressive looks, but I have no plans on letting go of this car any time soon. It still turns heads (in a positive way).

Great review. I own a 2012 V6 4WD and love it. Handles like a dream. Even with 7 horses less than the 2013, this thing moves. They do say that it is a very polarizing car. You either love it or hate it. Where I live, I'm always getting compliments from people on its looks. Personally, I love the styling.

I got one of these recently and here is why. I drove a 14 forester, outback, CRV, Pilot and was very disappointed. CVT is aweful around town and not a single one of them did any better than my 04 pilot with 165k miles. I refuse to pay over 30k for any of these. The crosstour was fast, quiet and drove like a dream. My only downside is rear visability. I'm used to driving trucks so use mirror anyway and the backup camera only take a bit of getting used to. The exl v6 4x4 w/o nav was 35k but I got one for 29k since dealer had a bunch of them. Since I have a 4dr pu I don't need as much cargo space but this has plenty for me. I don't know where the handling quirks come from. This drives better than most sub 50k vehicles and it is quick from a traffic light. As a auto mechanic for 20 yrs and a BMW mechanic for 5 of those years I have driven my share of cars.
@tungol0011 жыл бұрын
Is it really quicker than the new forester? The XT version of course.

This will always be the Honda accord we never got, double wishbone suspension, AWD, hell we could’ve gotten the manual from the TL and the accord would’ve set the world on fire 🔥 instead we got got this, and while yes it’ll never be that Honda accord sports car, it’s surpassingly close enough while giving you all the utility that an accord sports sedan could never give you.

The spare tire is under the rear of the vehicle (like a pickup). It's concealed by the plastic cover visible during the "exhaust note" portion of the video.

I was kinda "meh" when I saw one, until I rented one for a week.....I bought one the week after....lol. Fun to drive, and aside from the vehicle weight it's very powerful. Not too many on the freeway, so I get double takes followed by "what it that?"

I have this exact model, except in 2WD. This vehicle fit my needs and I like Honda's more than Toyota (Venza) so I got it. I get 15 in city and 30 on highway trips. It's fast and quiet. The Navi/Entertainment system needs serious work. Still over all, having e car 2 months +, I'm liking it very much. It gets lots of compliments from people on the street, not reviewers. Especially for the color. (Red). If you watch the three videos on EMD about the car there is a progression, from using it.
@VernellAnthony8 жыл бұрын
Do you still have the car? If so, how do you like it and what year do you have?
@jbs2567 жыл бұрын
Vernell Anthony yes, yes and 2013. Roomy comfortable and hauls what I needed to. Just wish it was a hybrid for better city mileage. But, I put very low miles on it so mpg does minimal damage. At 30+ mpg hwy, it's a great trip car.

I really like the look and value of the Crosstour. I am actually considering purchasing a new vehicle similar to this vehicle. Dave, what are your thoughts I between the Crosstour and Subaru's Outback? Would it be possible to do a comparison review? Side note: I'm loving the content you put out! Greatly appreciate the videos and your efforts!

They need to bring out a wagon version of the current accord. This car is about 200 lbs too heavy. Rear visibility is bad. The 4 cylinder needs the earth dreams engine for improved torque and fuel economy. 5 speed auto in a $30K car? Come on honda! The 4 cylinder would benefit from the extra gear to keep the engine in the best operating range....Just hope the TSX wagon doesnt go away any time soon.

This up blind spot video screen legal in all states? Massachusetts when I learned to drive the book said you can't have a TV screen in the front. Unless this just counts as a mirror I wouldn't know for sure. On the rare occasion that I'm in a modern car with Advanced safety features that that's screen is connected to a backup camera that only turns on when in reverse.

I'm a long time Honda buyer and although I'm not partial to the look of the Cross-tour, Honda's in general are nice looking, reliable and versatile. The fit and finish of many Korean cars is sub par in my opinion. They have long way to go in reliability, safety and construction.

I just watched Honda's video on getting to the spare. It takes 70 cranks to get the space saver down, and then the carrier has to be cranked back. Fortunately both Crosstour owners I know have AAA.
