Coming back to say that I've been watching a lot of brakes videos, in particular Honda Crv, but this video is by far and away the best video I've found. The production quality, the pacing of information delivery, the cleanliness of the information... they are all excellent. If you are just starting out with this channel, I wholeheartedly recommend keeping it up, and keeping it at this level of production quality. I think preeminence, or something close, is within your reach. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

This video covers everything to OEM requirements. By far the most comprehensive and complete review of the proper methodology to follow changing brakes. I am a Chemical Engineer and work at an OEM assembly facility. I could not find a single fault in this video. The author summarized the proper method detailed in virtually every OEM service manual. Covered everything down to proper lubricants and torque specs. The road test was even included. I would add bleeding brakes for old cars to ensure the fluid is clean. But that is not required since he noted to break the bleeder screw(that should be done correctly to avoid air entering then system). Excellent job mate!!

i recommend opening the bleed valve WHILE pressing the brake piston. this expels some crud that may have collected at this part of the fluid line. then add new fluid into the reservoir. this was a recommendation from my brake specialist teacher.

Been a while since I did my own brakes, however just did my '06 Murano. Watched several different video's, and of course say this one after I was done. Very nice, no obnoxious music, referenced toque spec's and proper lubes per Manf., wait, what!!! No one else seems to do that, just torque it down until if feels right, and then a bit more.... Just a couple of possible points if I might. I used anti-sieze on every bolt (wheel, caliper, and bracket). In addition to lubing those caliper pins, you may need to check inside the bracket holes to make sure there isn't more contaminated/old grease. I was advised not to put any lube on the back of the brake pad, but did put some Sil-Glydeon the pad ends that slide on the brake pad hardware. I'll know shortly if I listened to the wrong person. Keep of the great work.

Great my friend, thx a lot, you are great, the tempo of filming and talking is slightly too fast, what needed rewinding.good tips , realise that what is obvious for you, can be new for a diyer😅, so slow down the pace and show the details relaxed. What are your feelings on Burning-in, burnishing, breaking-in new pads. The 5-10 quick stops from 60mph to 10? I am going to be replacing pads on my Vette. I am concerned with glazing the pads and causing a squeal. FYI: your videos are great! Content, instructions, materials, and talking speed. Keep them coming please.

When you break in the new pads, do few gentle slow downs without locking the wheels or having abs kicked in, So won't glaze the pads or make a squeal.
