There is a store called Jungle Jim’s International Market near me in Ohio & you can find some meats & seafoods not found in ordinary groceries at least not here in Kentucky where I live. Whole Squid, Whole Octopus & Whole Skinless Alligator, assorted fish too. Their meats large selections. Amazing store…takes me forever to get thru! 🥰 Max you did it again…great choice in having Rick as a guest speaker!! Keep them coming👍❤️❤️❤️

@censured-again2 ай бұрын
@Tom_CarnivorousDG Pigs feet and knuckles is an old German staple. It is a jelly like head cheese, and when first made is reminiscent of bone broth and is really good. Calves brain is a good protein. Additionally, the last foot of a moose rectum thoroughly cleaned with all the muscle attached can be smoked over simmering moose brains. This is then spiced, and the rectum is turned outside in for an excellent sausage.

QUACK QUACK!! Great Interview and discussion Rick and Max. If everyone would just listen to Rick, they would be happy, healthy and hopeful instead of fat, sick and depressed with lots of chronic physical and mental health conditions. 20 mos ago I was morbidly obese at 300 lbs, suffering with T2 diabetes, sky high BP, migraines, acid reflux, chronic arthritis and fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety and a lot more. Well here I am now as a carnivore, down 101 lbs, and ALL of the above conditions are GONE or in full remission and I’m off all meds. If you think Rick is just some crazy “Quack”, eccentric, weird and strange bc of the way he lives and eats only meat, eggs and seafood… Well you’d be RIGHT!!! And after 40 years of eating this way, Rick is STILL trying his best to give himself a heart attack, but he just keeps on failing and is healthier than just about anyone out there. 😮👍😬🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

Rick has been a carnivore for longer than anyone else I’ve ever heard of (40 yrs) and he is a super honest and intelligent guy, please listen to EVERYTHING he says bc he is amazing, a true carnivore LEGEND. BTW… I eat 2-3 lbs of meat everyday and I’ll never go back to my old way of eating (the SAD diet). I’m down 101 lbs, and I’ve reversed my T2 diabetes, high BP, chronic arthritis, migraines, acid reflux, depression, anxiety and a lot more. I’m also off all meds😊

Man… you are sooo wrong. Rick is a LEGEND in the carnivore community. He’s been eating this way for 40 YEARS and just bc Rick walks to the beat of a different drum (he is unique and a bit eccentric, yes) but that’s exactly what makes him so interesting and amazing!! I’ve hosted many carnivore livestreams on several different carnivore channels and as a 20 month carnivore who’s not only lost 101 lbs but also reversed/cured T2 diabetes, high BP, chronic arthritis, migraines, depression, anxiety and a ton more… I’ve never worked with a finer, more professional, more reasonable and “common sense” individual in my entire life. Yep. Rick is for real. He eats 4-5 lbs of meat every day. He’s been doing this for 40 years btw… and is a carnivore LEGEND. I’ve known Rick for a year and have co-hosted several carnivore panels and livestreams with him and everything he says is 100% true. I eat between 2 and 3 lbs of meat and eggs everyday but Rick is much taller than me (he is about 6’6” or 6’8” tall… he’s the tallest Carnivore perhaps in the world!) so he logically eats a bit more meat than I do.

I'd like to see the gut microbiome of the carnivore diet versus vegan. Likely different, and likely why those who are accustomed to one type tend to have issues switching. Everyone is different. For me, it's ALL VEGAN - 100%. I've see too many comparision studies at this point.
@somethingelse95352 ай бұрын
No shortage of studies comparing plant based to high sugar junk diet. Only marginally better at best. No studies compared to carnivore though. Vegans tend to only last a few years, their health collapses eventually.

Comparison with what ?
@user-yb9hi3us4p2 ай бұрын
so what flowers would you like on your grave?
@Desertflower7432 ай бұрын
Vegan is certainly a million times better than filling the body with processed junk food. Though the vegetarians I know do eat copious amounts of non meat junk food. The issue with veganism is that you can’t get fully nourished from an all plant food diet. The body is excellent at extracting what it can, but eventually most though not all, people on a vegetarian or vegan diet will suffer poor nutritional effects. If you are experiencing no issues at all then you are either new to it or you can thank your body’s fantastic ability to extract the most it can from the little it gets. I’m just wondering why you are on a carnivore platform if you enjoy vegan 100%? Nevertheless, good luck and good health going forward ☺️
@somethingelse95352 ай бұрын
@@Desertflower743 It's not "a million times better", vegans suffer heart disease only 10% less than junk food eaters, cancer is the same rate. It's not worth it, at least junk food tastes 10x better.

Aye, been aware of him for several years and he's always got those dark circles under his eyes and what not. I don't think we're built to eat ALL meats, just ruminants, scaled fish and eggs. I no longer have a taste for poultry and have cut them out, just like pork, because I don't feel quite right after eating those along with non-scaled fish (catfish primarily). May be more related to how they're processed, but I have my doubts.
