Immortal in Dragonball is a very loose (and dumb) term. The only instant of True Immortality is Zamasu, who Goku could not beat at all. But Zeno could because.... he's way, WAY stronger than Zamasu. Almost every Hax in Dragonball could be cancel just by....being stronger. And that's the problem: not every Verse follow that Rule. In alot of Verse, Immortality mean quite literally, leaving no option but Sealing or skills that directly counter it.

For example: I don't think Goku can bypass Aizen Hypnosis. Even tho Goku did bypass Hypnosis before, he only did it because in his verse, being stronger and you will bypass any hax. Or I don't think Goku can withstand any Existence Erasure or Reality Bending Hax from other Verses like Medaka Box, Madoka Magica or Fire Force. Even tho he did survive Hakai from Beerus, its only because the Dragonball Power System allow him to, a power system that other verse doesn't need to follow.
