There are definitely better cars than Crown Vics, but departments just insist on acquiring SUVs as police cars for some reason. Surprise surprise, a regular car is faster than an SUV
@I.no.ah.guy57
@I.no.ah.guy57 4 ай бұрын
@@Baratako0 well the crown vic is a rwd 2.5L V8 with around 250hp, and the newer Escapes are AWD (for interceptor model, but is also an option for civilian models I believe) with up to a 3.0L V6 twin turbo making 400hp and 415lbsft of torque 😳 But the Escapes are definitely heavier with all the gear and mods it has, esp K9 ones, at over 6000lbs! But that Audi Q5 is AWD 2.0L Inline 4 single turbo pushing 300-320hp, and is wayyy lighter than both, so that's why he was able to leave them, and why the crown vic was able to keep up, for the most part

I loved hearing that part. Tbh I usually zip thru the chases: they're scary and a lot of them endanger folks for no reason, but once I heard Crown Vic, I had to see. Bought a '72 Plymouth 450 police cruiser at a '77 auction. The air filter was the size of a spaceship. Still had search lights on front doors and Bond-o in every crease. It flew, but walked with a limp next to a tuned up Crown Vic. Props to LEO and the folks who keep their wheels rolling.

The system is overcrowded. 44.5% of America's incarcerated are in for drug related offenses. I was assaulted last year. The culprit was sentenced to a year. However he only served 2 months. Prison overcrowding was the excuse the States Attorney office told me was the reason for early release. When someone who is in possession of a drug gets more time than someone who harms another the system is broke.

Definitely a lot less. It’s an entirely opinionated state. Our circumstance will never dictate another’s. If we let people like this create “law” we’d be jailed for not crossing on the cross walk, or turning on a no turn on red lmfao Some People need guidance not jail. People are righteous doo doo heads.

@@anti-ethniccleansing465 correct, but think about when the new Taurus came out, and now think about how every police agency switched to the Taurus in 2010, Ford probably saw that and chose to discontinue the Vic because police agencies were the top customer to the vics, if police didn’t switch I’m sure they’d still be made, who knows I bet Ford will come out with a badass Vic one day, it’s all marketing, if they come out with a new Vic so many people would get it cuz they thought they’d never be made again, look at the Broncos and how the V8 raptors they brought back, high dollar vehicles now

Kudos to the officer driving the Crown Victoria, his driving skills were the best ive seen, and hes giving constant updates. Every officer needs to spend time learning from him. And a huge shout out to the Crown Vic itself. What a truly great car, it is such a shame the Ford stopped making them. In my 22 year career i mainly drove Crown Vics or Merc Marquis, and was so sad when we retired them and went to SUVs. The SUVs are great for lugging around all your kit, but no where near as capable or reliable. The 4.6 Liter Panther engine is one of the best motors ever made, and they are virtually indestructible. Add in a police suspension package, and they stick to the road like they're glued. Im retired now, but i drive an 05 Marquis that was a former state supervisor's car, its got 152K and purrs like a kitten, and i just bought a mint 98 Town Car which uses the same 4.6 Panther and transmission. I live in northern New England, so rust kills these cars long before the wear out mechanically. If you do the regular routine maintenance on these cars, they will run forever.

I know it's hard to believe but teenagers are actual people who, regardless of how they've been raised, may make their own decisions and do their own things. I know the common consensus is that kids are just basically cl9nes of the parents that they can control with a snap of the fingers but just like you were growing up, and are as an adult, you may be a lot different than your parents, have different beliefs and goals, and are a whole, separate person with your own mind. And as much as we might want them to, parents can't exactly quit their jobs and literally sit on their kids until their 18th birthday to keep them from doing whatever they'll do. These kids have been in trouble before and obviously just don't care about punishment or consequences. Some kids are just little criminal a-holes and there's not much you can do about it but hope they don't hurt anyone before they get a real big boy sentence.
