What’s the strangest most extraordinary thing you’ve experienced? There’s a word for things that fall outside what we can understand through reason or science: the paranormal. In this video, we look at Carl Jung’s paranormal experiences, ideas, and theories as they relate to synchronicity in Clint Eastwood's 2010 film Hereafter. It's the story of three seemingly disconnected people who, through a series of choices and remarkable chance encounters, are brought face to face with an inexplicable mystery.

You’ve given so much to me, and seemingly to many others as well, through your videos. They are simply masterpieces. I’ve wanted to give back to you for a long time now, and not just with a nice comment here on YT. I’ve checked your website and you offered numerology reports, but not at the moment. When will this be possible again? I don’t actually need a numerology report, but it seems like a good way to make a donation to you. Alternatively, have you considered opening up a tip jar or similar here on YT? I’d love to contribute. I’ve had a number of uncanny coincidences (synchronicities) and other difficult-to-explain phenomena happen to me in the recent past, and your videos have helped to explain things better than anything else out there. You have a serious gift for explaining things and storytelling.

That's extraordinarily kind, Streptomyces, thanks so much for your wonderful presence in the comments, and for always supporting my work. You're the best, and I always look forward to reading your comments. Your very generous comment really warmed my heart. At the moment I'm revamping my offerings, and thinking of ways to keep this work going, but for right now I don't have a donation system. For me the biggest compliment is if you can find some way to pay it forward. Help out a loved one, show kindness to a stranger, or help someone in need. The work I'm doing on this channel is in many ways, my own attempt to pay forward the generosity and kindness of mentors who have also given me so much. The world changes through tiny acts like this one; they have a cumulative effect. It ties in with the message of Hereafter: three random people who happen to save each other through tiny and seemingly innocuous acts of kindness. In the end they're also saving themselves and moving their own story forward. I think that's such a powerful idea, and it's the thing that most inspires me and motivates me to do this work. And it's why I do this. Big love to you and yours, my friend!

You have a beautiful soul and that transpires through all your videos. You have a gift for narration. It brings me a sentiment of peace at all times. I love this movie, and I've always been open to this kind of topic; like I've always known this is true without experiencing it myself, as we are all one-self. I recognize all the synchronicities in my life, and we are living in a special time, there is not a single doubt in my mind. The message from your reply to the pinned comment is truly what we should all remember each day, to be kind and help one another, this does indeed, change the world positively each time. Much love & blessings from Quebec, Canada.

I'm so grateful for your support, Mimi, thank you. It means the world to me, and I'm overwhelmed by your kind comment, which very much resonates with me too. I agree completely: in the end we're all one-self. Jung lived through both world wars and saw the capacity for human destruction. But he also believed that all change can only begin with the individual. It all starts with small changes each of us makes, and together it has a transformative effect. We are living in special times indeed, my friend. Big love and many blessings to you and yours in beautiful Quebec (from a fellow Canadian).

A beautiful production, Elson. Though the mainstream tends to separate spiritual experience from "rational thinking," more and more I actually believe that much of spirituality is simply aspects of our reality and multiverse that science has not yet been able to explain or adequately investigate yet. So much of our modern world, like wifi, would appear to be invisible magic to people of centuries past. I think that most people, on a deep subconscious level intuitively realize that there is spiritual dimension to life beyond what we can see with our eyes, which is why I think works like the Lord Of The Rings resonates with people across the globe and multiple generations. It's fascinating that an academic thinker like Tolkien very clearly describes in his works how there exists both a seen world and an unseen spiritual world overlapping, and that it is the unseen battle between the forces of good and evil that matter more than anything happening on the material plane of existence. Also I loved how you ended with the quote about how we are more powerful than we imagine. As much as I loved my biology professors in college, I now very much disagree with their assertion that humans are just smart apes or biological robots. I think that we are all spiritual beings and children of the most high, and as such, there is almost no limit to human potential, save the limits that humans place upon themselves. Thanks so much for the vid Elson, keep up the amazing work!

Thanks for the movie review, I have seen the movie several times already. I always love reading your comments, Silver Tree. I always felt this movie is an underrated gem that never got the attention it deserved. I too have watched this film several times, and I take it as a reminder that we all have it in ourselves to save each other in little ways; even through small and seemingly innocuous acts. I always think of Joseph Campbell's quote: “We're not on our journey to save the world but to save ourselves. But in doing that you save the world. The influence of a vital person vitalizes.” Thank you for being such a vital person and always a source of positivity and insight in these comments section. Big love to you and yours, my friend!

Firstly, I strongly encourage everyone to read Dr. Raymond Moody's book Life After Life (as mentioned in this video) because it not only ...it didn't change my thinking it negated ALL of the BS (bullsh*t) that's been fed to us and reaffirmed all of my life's (I'm 51) intuitive knowing and understandings about why we are here and what our purpose is. Death is to be embraced but before we reach those glorious moments (loving light, unseen amazing colors, souls reaching out for us) we gotta deal w/ the sh*tty nitty gritty of our existence here. Sorry...I'm not sure how to word it! Secondly, superb, well done and masterfully composed video-thank you SO much! Excellent work! I was so blown away! Man, I'm not deleting this video from my notifications because it IS a keeper! I never knew C. Jung 'dabbled' in spiritualism nor had an NDE. I had no idea....interesting that he did. I truly am inspired by your video (great work!) and reminded 'we gotta do what we gotta do'. I have been at one of my lowest points in life. I have not left my bed (I work from home so...I can sit in bed and work( but I haven't left this bed in more than 48 hours. I'll leave it at that. Superb. Oh, I GET IT! All of it! ALL OF IT! I also suggest everyone watch Hereafter - be prepared for it to blow your mind but come on! If we can't trust Jung who can we as humans? OK. I'm getting outta this bed, something to eat, clean up and move on. Do your research and I promise you will come to mindblowing and amazing conclusions just like the Modern Intuitionist did. SUPERB! BRAVO!,

People like you are why I do this, and it inspires me to continue. Beautifully said, death is a natural and inevitable part of life, and the temporary nature of our physical lives is what gives meaning and importance to time and makes every moment precious. And at the end of it all there will come a time when we meet our lost loved ones again. Big love to you and yours, my friend. I appreciate you!

@@ModernIntuitionist not sure if you'll see this but I went to search for this movie to stream and it turns out my friend bought it just a few weeks ago! We were watching the Rugby World Cup and I recommended he watch the movie "Invictus" about the South African rugby team during Apartheid. He bought it on our shared service and he also ended up buying "Hereafter" too. I asked what compelled him to buy it and he said he guessed he was just on a Matt Damon/Clint Eastwood movie kick 😂 at that time, there was no way he could have known I wanted to see this movie since I didn't even know about it. another great video! I always like the depth and atmosphere you create there, through following a movie. It's very special and I don't mind waiting as much as I need to for the next video. This topic here is fascinating also. You know, there's this movie I'm very fond of, "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" or Amélie in English, you probably have seen it but each time I think about it I say "I'm sure this could be the base of one of his videos." There's so much magic and love in it and a sense of how life passes you by if you don't take action on living more fully, adressing your deepest desires, the internal struggles of Amélie. There's also a ton of semi-synchronistic events, or ripple effects with secondary characters and stories, in an overall charming and fantastic setting that warms my heart. I'm not really sure how you would go about doing a video around this, might be a bit hard to choose the right angle and build something around it, but if one can do it justice it would be you and your channel. There's so much soul in this movie that I can't help but feel it could be a great addition

Thanks so much, Vincent. I have seen Amélie, it's fabulous and every frame of that movie is beautiful (and I especially love Yann Tiersen's soundtrack). But maybe someday I'll revisit it. Thank you for showing love and support for what I'm doing, your kind comments mean the world to me. Big love to you and yours, my friend!

In the movie, a few other things connected with me which were very interesting.A week before you released the video I was talking to a friend on the phone about a lady I had met years ago who was traveling to Kings Cross station (even though in the movie it is Charing Cross) but a station before as the train doors were closing she got pushed out into the platform and when she turned around to see who pushed her off the train but there was no one there as the train went on to Kings Cross. She waited for the next train but was told all trains were canceled. So she got out from the station she was left at and found out that at Kings Cross underground station over 30 people were killed in a fire right after her train reached there.This happened in 1987. My friend I was telling this to also lives in San Francisco like the main character in the movie. So yes the universe is always listening and planning our destinies once we let go of all the mental conditioning most are stuck in to then see the amazing syncronticites taking place.

Speaking about synchronicity : this video arrived on my KZbin page together with a video of a psychic reading by the medium Matt Fraser , who is the opposite of a withdrawn , sad and lonely figure ! Although he channels dead relatives for people, this is never a dark, sinister affair but full of humor, even fun...

Wow, very cool! I'm not familiar with Matt Fraser but I will check him out. What you've written really aligns with my own strange unexplained experiences, and for example, dreams where I see old lost loved ones again; it's not a sad affair, but a reaffirmation of life, and realizing that every moment we have here is precious. I always appreciate your wonderful comments, Mellifergold, and I always look forward to reading them. Thank you for your continued support, it means the world to me. Big love to you and yours, my friend

@@ModernIntuitionist You' re so very kind, man ! Matt started doing group online readings during the pandemic, and put a lot of those little live- reading videos to watch on KZbin. He loves people and and uses his flashy style to lift them up , lighten the atmosphere when people are stuck in their grief... It is my personal experience too , that the connection to " the other side " brings joy and the vibes that lift the veil are those of love

I’ve commented on previous videos of yours, me being a grieving sceptic. I’ve spent the past month viewing the videos of Anthony Chene, an equally talented presenter. Do I view your latest offering as a synchronistic event? Is this what the dark night of the soul is like? Re-evaluating everything you thought you knew? It’s too jarring and destructive. I just want to believe in something true for once, but have been fooled too many times to make that leap of faith yet again.
@ModernIntuitionist

Hello Meskalokys, yes I remember you. I believe I wrote to you then that I saw a lot of myself in your comment because I am someone who was once a skeptic. And I see a lot of myself in the comment you've written now. I can only speak to my own experience. The mindset I had of being overly rational/skeptical permeated into every part of my life where I was critical of new possibilities and opportunities and shooting them down before they could ever get off the ground. For me, it was making me live a life that was smaller than I truly desired, and it was ultimately a very limited worldview. Making the choice to open myself to the unexpected is what has allowed me to move toward living a much fuller and authentic life than I ever thought possible with my old mindset. For me it wasn't a leap of faith, it was a gradual process of opening myself up through tiny steps. But I can only speak for me, as there are probably hard-core skeptics out there who are perfectly very happy believing whatever they believe E.g. we are nothing more than our physical bodies, that there is no soul, and the only things that exist are things that can be objectively observed and measured. And that's okay. It's a big world, and people will never agree on a topic as contentious as this one. In the end you have to decide what rings true to you. It's absolutely an uncomfortable process to figure it out, but to ask these questions is what it means be human. These are the same questions all of our ancestors asked, and it's one of the things that connects us to them in a single continuous unbroken chain from now to the beginning. I think you would also benefit from seeing a grief counsellor in your area, if you aren't already. Please remember to take care of yourself, and be kind to yourself as well. Blessings, my friend. Big love to you and yours

You csn experience paranormalities, synchronicities, and "signs" for anything you believe even if its false. The interpretation that it's spirits is just an interpretation. I attribute the phenomenon to energy and just the power of the brain or mind and how it works.

I don't fear my light. In fact, I long to be "powerful beyond measure", but what do you do when the brightness of your light frightens others or angers them? I try to dim my shine so women won't hate me and men will stop assaulting me. I don't even have to do or say anything to them. They just...lash out. It's exhausting to constantly keep the damper switch on. What can I do when my light-at it's full volume-makes people do irrational things?
@ModernIntuitionist
@ModernIntuitionist 6 ай бұрын
Hello Jennifer. That's a legitimate and very real question. It's moved me, and I see a lot of myself in what you've written, as someone who has also had to struggle with unlearning all the ways we're conditioned to dim our own lights and suppress ourselves. I can only speak to my own experience, which is that dimming my own light has only attracted insecure people who were not happy for anything good in my life, and who were rooting for me to fail. In the end I had to let those people go, and recognize that they are not my tribe. Leaving those people behind created the space for those who genuinely celebrate with me in good times, and offer empathy and support in difficult ones. These are true friends, and they're rare. If you find one, hang onto them. I believe that at every crisis point, life is posing a question to us: what will we do? What path will we take? It's something only you can decide. For me, I decided there were two paths I could take: one where I dim myself so I can get along with people who don't really care about me; or one where I can pursue what I feel called to do even if it invites haters and those who want to tear me down. Only one of those paths gets me to living a life that's genuine and authentic and true to who I am. I still get plenty of haters to this day, and it's an ongoing battle, but that's unfortunately the price that must be paid to create a life that aligns with my heart's true desire. For me it has absolutely been worth it, and it has allowed me to connect with so many kindhearted and wonderful souls in these comments including yourself. I also look to my heroes. If you go to amazon and look up reviews on Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning" for example, you will find 1 star negative reviews. Even works I consider to be masterpieces will still get a 1 star review from someone. And that's okay. It's a big world. Not every piece of content will resonate with everyone. We can't stop people from being irrational. But if you let your light shine bright, I promise you will find and attract the ones who are your tribe; and the jealous ones hoping to see you fail will fade into the background. There are also very unique challenges women face, as you've pointed out. It's absolutely harrowing and unacceptable that you've been attacked and assaulted for simply existing. That's not okay, and it's a deep failure of our institutions that it allows it to happen. I think of the people of the past who fought horrific injustices; where women and other groups were treated as literal property without basic rights. How did they find such courage in such horrific circumstances? I don't know but I'm glad they did, and they inspire me. At this moment, there are young women out there asking themselves the same questions you are: should I dim my light? You are a powerful and brilliant voice and a divine being who is well positioned to speak to these questions. Part of your journey may be to confront and overcome those same questions so you can be a guiding light for young women facing those same crises. Just a thought, but I believe all manifestation begins with a good thought. In the end we are all co-creating our lives with the universe, one decision at a time. Big love to you and yours, my friend. Thank you for being such a kind and warm voice in these comments.

@@ModernIntuitionist I wish I knew your name. It’s awkward to address a screen name. So I think I’ll call you Mr. MI. (That’s the universal question, isn’t it? Who MI?) Well, Mr. MI, it’s been several days since I read your reply. After I cried for entirely too long, I slept for 12 hours. Only then was I able to tell my hubby why his wife was a sobbing mess. Before replying, I wanted to make sure I had all my wits about me to say what needs to be said. From your very first video, I knew you were an intriguing, rare soul; articulate, intelligent and genuine. I saw and felt your passion and dedication to the subject matter and the message you send out in your words. The details in both video and narration are precise without a word wasted, and yet, your voice is soothing and unhurried. Your work is riveting without being flashy, your voice: almost hypnotic. I can’t imagine how much work you put into each video! Somehow, I don’t think you mind it. Passionate creations aren’t usually a chore. I, for one, am endlessly thankful that you followed your passion. I felt compelled to share that with you. As a writer myself, I’ve learned that any compliment tends to mean a lot more coming from someone outside of your known circle. Please know that you’re making a positive impact indeed. Oddly, your positive impact extends to my sobbing fit. Your videos will often connect the dots between spirituality, philosophy, synchronicity and the works of Carl Jung. Well, Mr. MI, I’m here to say that on this day, you have become MY synchronicity. You may or may not know I’ve been having one hell of a dark night of the soul for over a year now. In one way or another, everybody and almost everything has left my life including all my friends, my pets, my health and even my daughter. Only my husband remains. Entrenched in the deepest depression in all my fifty years, I’ve done everything I can think of doing to get out of this pit, but solutions elude me and there’s no spiritual kindreds to be found. My hubby recently said that I need a “win”, something to be positive about, so for the last few months, I’ve been praying for two things: A big win and to find my tribe. On a particularly bad day recently, I looked skyward and all but demanded my own substantial synchronicity telling me that I still matter and that someone’s listening up there. I said I needed something more than silly repeating numbers or random bird feathers. I asked for an unmistakable sign, something that would prove I’m not alone and that my efforts won’t be wasted. A few days later, I watched your video and although it was awesome in its own rite, it was your reply to my little comment that knocked me out of my chair. You said you related to my bright light issue. No one’s ever said that to me before. You laid out why I’d lost the people in my life and likewise, why I hadn’t found my tribe. You mentioned some things that REAL friends will do and I realized I’d never had a genuine friend…in my life! You spoke of choosing a path of authenticity and about the haters you would surely encounter as an internet figure, using a favorite author’s book as reference. You even highlighted that it’s still worth the effort despite any adversity. With each sentence you knocked me further and further back in my chair. Early in my awakening, I knew exactly what my life purpose is. Although it’s quite detailed, part of it is to make videos on platforms like KZbin. This terrifies me because despite my most eloquent and gentle efforts, my words (if not my very existence) anger people. I couldn’t imagine the backlash I would get if I threw myself out to the entire world! It would be open season on Jennifer! Currently, I have a whole studio of video equipment set up and it’s gathering dust because I’m afraid. In the last two paragraphs of your reply, you became the channeler of the synchronicity I’ve been asking for. As a writer, one of the first lessons you learn is to write what you know. I certainly know about the issues women face and I know about dimming my light for others. In your response, you showed me that I’m not the only one and that there’s nothing wrong with ME. Then You showed me a way I can still help others…without pissing them off. I have a goal now. Maybe this is what I needed to get out of this funk. I’m still looking for my tribe though. Why must everyone be so spread out? The internet certainly has the capacity to bring people together, but honestly, I wish I could give you a big, long hug right now. Promise me something: When I’m a successful internet influencer, promise me that we can meet and have lunch or coffee. I would love to hear the Story of You. Imagine what a powerhouse team we would make in the future! For now, I’m just grateful for you, Mr. MI and I consider you a part of my extended tribe. From the very core of me, I truly thank you.

@@jenniferfields10 Wow, Jennifer. What you've written is so powerful, beautiful, and deeply moving to me. I'm immensely grateful to you for sharing your insights with me, and for being a constant source of kindness, inspiration and support in these comments. I consider you to be a part of my extended tribe too, and if our paths are meant to cross, I would welcome that. I believe one of the central tasks of our lives is to find and celebrate the things that make us unique (often these are things we think are weaknesses and things we're conditioned to hide and be ashamed of, but they are our greatest gifts). This journey of self-discovery (or some might say rediscovery) is difficult but it's the most exciting thing we can undertake to do. May you continue to follow your bliss, and pursue your personal legend. Big hugs and big love to you and yours always, my friend. P.S. You can call me Elson! Hopefully the comment section is for all to share as your comment seemed to be directed to the channel owner. In my opinion from personal experience as seen through my perspective, the gift of light that we all have is for the most part being used like an on or off dimmer switch. That light (energy, vibration, frequency...) gives the user access to all it illuminates and yet we limit it's versatility. It's like going into a room and turning on the light switch and if you don't like what you see you either turn it off or dim it down so things become more vague in the room. Never actually interacting with anything in the room. Energy flows both ways and is a form by which to be manipulated (which most use this word in the negative sense) to interact with what becomes visible when the light is shown on it. Reconnecting allows one to expand their awareness to widen the playing field, like going from 1st person to a 3rd person aspect in a video game. When one realizes this it allows one to manipulate the energies in the environment for the desired effects. It's like entering a room full of negative energy and being aware of the positive space within it and commanding that space. Knowing just what to do or say with perfect timing so that everything that enters that space conforms to your energies and not the other way around. Most people allow others to drain their energies but reconnecting allows for the a balance that allows one to adapt to their environment and even assert influence over it. We all are doing it on an unconscious level be it with a smile, knowing what needs to be said in the moment, a welcoming gesture..... But at the same time that balance allows one to also deter certain energies similar to the opposite polarities of a magnet. To consciously be able to control the flow of energy in a room is like magic when we learn how to do it. It's like a beautiful handmade sweater where everything looks perfect on the outside. The secret is being able to see underneath at all the mistakes, tricks and shortcuts to get a better understanding of how the sweater was created. Reconnecting means nothing is off limits, but at the same time can be quite overwhelming as new light is brought in to see things through a different lens. Some things have to literally be experienced in order to truly understand. Like Glenda told Dorothy, "you've always had the power to go back home but, if I told you you wouldn't have believed me and had to experience it for yourself." Dorothy now knows that should she ever go looking for her heart's desires, she'll look no further than her own backyard (within). It might sound complicated as many things that are new to us do but it's through trial and error as your intentions plays the biggest part in this. Most of us are going through life being so distracted and having no true intentions of our own and getting caught up in someone else's wondering how we got there. There is no one size fits all we're all here to share with one another but we can't grow through other's experiences. Doing this is like borrowed magic and it never last but the magic from within is forever. All this to say, your light is as versatile and as infinite as the stars in the sky and rediscovering it is like being a child on the playground. Even the mundane is seen through new eyes of awareness and that's when you realize you are actually now gaining access the game's tutorial and the fun begins. It's so much more once you start leveling up, just remember to put into practice what you are shown. It's like having to bake the same type of cake 100 times in order to perfect it to gain access another recipe and that's when a new experience will present itself. This is the best time to be alive as everything is literally at our fingertips but most of us aren't taking advantage of it because we're caught up in the programing and all the shiny distractions. Of coarse take this with a grain of salt and if none of it resonates, no harm no foul as everything is not for everyone, at least not at this moment. Good luck! ❤
