While I was living in Ontario (Guelph) I competed in HamCon a number of times. This was in the early 1990's. It was typically a well attended show with some very good modellers participating. I was fortunate enough to take home a number of first, second and third place plaques for my entries. I have many fond memories of those events.

The lancaster you have in the video flies over my house literally every other day in the summer. You can actually pay around $4500 for 60 minute flight in it.

Looking forward to you settng up a Canadian Distribution centre. The Mynarski Lancaster is truly a beautiful sight. Seeing it fly and hearing those four Merlin engines roar is awesome. She was almost lost in a fire a few years ago.

@@-donkey_696_ No. It was at the hangar of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. On February 15th, 1993, a large part of Hangar #3 was destroyed in a devastating fire. The aircraft lost were the Hawker Hurricane, Grumman Avenger, Auster, Stinson 105 and Supermarine Spitfire. The fire was fought only a few feet away from the Avro Lancaster. At the time, the Lancaster was sitting on aircraft jacks. With fear that the roof might collapse, it was hours before the decision was made to allow the wheels to be installed and the aircraft removed.
