Hermes Electric Service Progress Report or How does this darn thing work! Tutorial

Mine has a finicky space bar. It’ll make a buzzing noise sometimes and not engage. I’ve lubed and cleaned it but it still makes the buzz noise and if I don’t press it hard enough it will not actuate. I don’t see any adjustment points however. When I open the typewriter it’s not the physical linkage. It’s the actuator that presses against the rotating cylinder. I’m kind of at a lost. It isn’t consistent so the typewriter is useable. It will just miss a space every now and then. And it’s will make that annoying buzzing noise.
