Tried working a little bit of this pattern. and didn't like it. Well now I am here to say tried it again with a different yarn and guess what? I love it! As of now I am starting the heel flap. Thank you so much for all I your help. Take away, never give up on trying something new! Can't wait for another be pattern.

I noticed you slip your stitches purl wise, does it matter which way you slip them? I think I've been doing mine knit wise

When I follow this pattern I’m not getting that unique rib type of look. It’s as if the row 2 and row 4 aren’t matching up to make it.

Make sure your stitch count is right for that section, that may be throwing you off

I am using the magic loop method and ready to start the flap, am I supposed to turn my work and start on my back needle or continue on with the heel flap directions with the RS facing me on the front needle? Confusing since I'm using this method but I enjoy magic loop best! Thanks Tina, you are a joy to listen to...Gin!

Hi, sorry for the delay. When you are knitting the heel flap just work on half the stitches and leave the others until you pick up the side stitches and join back in the round. I hope this is clear and helpful.

Tina, not really what I meant but I figured it out I think, i just went back across the stitches I knitted last and started the heel flap. I have a really hard time using such thin yarn is there some other yarn I can use besides the sock yarn that still has some stretch..also if anyone here can help from the US please let me know...

No it's the heel from this pattern. I think it's slightly different but I can't remember sorry.
