We try a variety of techniques on a number of different hermits. Then, we create a villager breeder and fully automatic Iron farm to fulfill our insatiable appetite for Iron.

What made it even funnier to me was that it didn’t work. Scar didnt fold a bit where i was expecting him to laugh he just yells out “my stuff, Cub!!” 😂 like how dare he make that noise at a time like this.

I bet you could get someone like Xisuma, who is otherwise very cautious, pretty easy by trapping their XP grinder: divert the water stream so the mobs go to a weighted pressure plate adjacent to the room, and once there's a sufficient number a piston retracts to send them swarming.

Oh my gosh, I went back and looked at Scar's video and I can totally see Cub hiding up there on the cliff face when Scar uses his spyglass! So good!

1. Get a splash invisibility potion. 2. Get a splash speed II potion. 3. Lure a creeper near another player. 4. Make yourself and the creeper invisible, also speed it up for good measure. 5. You are no longer a reaper. + BONUS: try the "silence me" / "silenced" nametag (if that is a thing this season, I believe Xisuma mentioned it in the first one video about how hermitcraft is run released some time ago.)

That's a fun one, but once folks are all armoured up, a creeper isn't a death sentence You have to get through the nether before your target has diamonds, which is pretty tough

i wonder if it would be possible to let loose on someone a bunch of invisible endermen in similar way. they still aggro when invisible so it should help with tricking someone to look at them.

not that youre hurting for bone blocks, but i suppose if you dont have a use for the poppys from your iron farm, you could always have them auto compost and then auto craft into bone blocks :)

@@Anoneemus_Noenayme This is valid AND a good idea. However...Bonemeal makes more flowers...there are several red flowers in the game, roses alone make 2 dye each, and isn't the landscape ALREADY running with enough red from all the demised Hermits? LOL 😂

Enjoyable episode. If you don't need the extra poppy plants, you could always put a composter beneath them to get more bone meal to make even more bone blocks!

I choose to play on 100% pure vanilla, and it is such a tease to see the Hermits playing around with the crafter. June! It cannot come soon enough!

You can compost the poppy’s automatically and craft the bonemeal into bone blocks on the iron farm. It is a good passive way to get early bonemeal on the side

to be fair, when Cub checked those chests and determined it was worth it to make the explosion happen so close to them, Scar hadn't placed all his goodies in them yet from the long resource gathering trip he went on. To Cub's knowledge, Scar's chests were mostly full of bits and pieces of starter loot.

Finally we can play Satisfactory in Minecraft 😩Personnally i'd make it so the poppies fill a simple chest with red dye and overflow into a composter for additionnal bone blocks when that chest is full. As it is now, you'll "soon" be overflowing with poppies which will eventually cut the iron production when one of the hopper will be filled up with poppies, blocking the path for the ingots.

Pro tip for that farm. Cover the holes on the villagers and add a copper Rod in the very middle of the farm. So when a thunderstorm happens. It doesnt turn your villagers into witches...I learned the hard way...

I’m kinda disappointed he did not reimburse scar, he deleted 2 days of scars progress and from what I’m seeing did nothing to help him get his stuff back… I know scar played it off but it’s still extremely disappointing to lose 2 days of work over a trap.

Without it, the whole incident feels callous (especially knowing Scar has been having health issues and is in and out of the hospital and was struggling with completing an episode 1 build because of that even before this happened).

Cub, if you don’t want to store massive amounts of poppies you could compost them, then turn the bonemeal into blocks for more compact storage, and bonemeal is probably more useful than poppies

Thanks for showing how easy it is to set up the crafter for the iron farm! And then when you've stored up enough poppies, just run those through a composter and add another crafter setup for bone bloacks!

Why filter the poppies into chests instead of a composter? Use the 8 signal to also drive a second crafter that makes bone blocks, and now you have TWO compacted resources.

Great episode! With the crafter, if you modify the output a bit to be a "dropper clock", you can make a version that cleans out any piled up backlog should that ever happen for whatever reason. I started doing that everywhere as the default. Allows me to just dump a huge amount of items in and it would still get processed

GG on a couple of stellar traps that were BOTH NOTICED yet still were BOTH SUCCESSFUL. xD Hermits hermits hermits. I expected as much from Scar. But Pearl? lmaooo Awesome Iron farm and villager breeder, Cub! It’s really generous of you to make that for you and your neighbours. Creating communal infrastructure already is excellent content. I mean, Tango and Impulse built theirs in the ground and also are creating iron blocks automatically with the crafter (tbf, they do use a substantial amount of iron) but I really like yours being accessible to your neighborhood!

Trapping one of these skeleton farms would be pretty awesome. Instead of dropping to the kill spot, drop them into the room. Bdubs stairway looks perfect for a string trap. The room covers up where the hooks go

37:01 you can put 1 piece of the filtered item and 44 of the filler items in the latter slots and it'll work just as fine :) And popies can be composted, and in the end turned into bone blocks.

That iron farm is OP for my single player survival and super easy to build once you understand villager mechanics! I just used dirt blocks and beds to guide them to the pods and it worked a treat :D

For the poppies, you could send them into a composter to turn into bonemeal and then into a crafter to turn into bone blocks.

I get wanting to keep the poppies, for if you want dye... but, the urge is there to compost them and use the same setup to make bone blocks, albeit much slower
