8:10 Xisuma killed all of the passive mobs at the spawn chunks, so now his passive mob farm can work. As a side effect, passive mobs now spawn naturally again like that.

A new lab underground near the Birchwood Stronghold would be cool. So you don't have to terraform the forest and can spend more time in building the new base. Above ground I would build only a minor part of the base just to indicate that it is there in the area. A mineshaft is linked to the Stronghold so maybe there are even some mobspawners. But I would be more happy to see what you want to do. I enjoy your Lets Plays and keep it up!

I doubt the hermits will stay in Hermitville so long that making a huge map-sized pixelart would be worth the trouble Edit: Just remembered you can lock maps now. They could lock the current logo's map in a cartography table, then edit the pixelart for a modified outpost version. That'd prob be worth the effort. Personally though, I'm a fan of the title "Oasis - a Sahara outpost" (or just "Oasis" for short; name suggested by Scott Stratton) so maybe instead of the train there could be an oasis or mirage effect applied to the current logo, with some fanci palm trees and such.

You know what looks nice in the paths? Where you've used stairs in the path, waterlog them. So they look like little puddles; that works super well in a tiaga biome because they're very wet and rainy and you still get that dip in the path that adds texture. A bit of podzel on the edges works too for a hint of mud and variation from the grass.

Maybe stripped birch wood, sandstone, sandstone stairs and slabs, birch wood planks with the stairs and slabs, and sand with some birch trapdoors for lights. Then, maybe spruce or dark oak wood slabs along the sides of the path for Sahara Street. Even just some wood slabs on the outer edges of the path itself might just make it have less of an icy feel, and make it feel more separated from the grass.

Endstone is the most blast resistant block that is also moveable. It is used in some skicraft-type machinary, but not in large quantities as far as I know. Hope this might help

The end portal base could be the transport and logistics centre of Sahara. Build it into a large storage facility for storing end based materials and items to be transported back and forth to hermitville. It could be called Sahara logistics. Could even work it all in with the post service if sahara wanted to expand and offer delivery services :)

I prefer calling it Kalahari As it is another desert, though smaller, and has three As. Same as Sahara 3 As = 3 Architechs That sort of thing
