Landlords!! This is a good idea! After Sahara opens, every shop owned by Grian, Mumbo Jumbo, or Iskall, will become redundant. Considering the shortage of land in the shopping district (as Corbin Pedersen mentioned) and the Architechs's policy of not intruding on smaller businesses, renting land from pre-Sahara shops would be a good idea!! It even fits the Sahara concept of a Shop that Sells Everything!

In a vacuum, I would agree that Stress got the better deal. However, the current economic situation heavily favors whoever can access exclusive resources, like ice or wool (especially Ice since Stressmonster actively goes after other ice producers). Simply having a trade deal with the Ice Queen to begin with gives Sahara a massive advantage. Besides, they're not giving up much. Temporary snow farms are extremely easy to build, and packed ice can be crafted from ice and in turn can be used to craft blue ice.

Actually, there's a real-life example of a cartel that isn't illegal. It's called OPEC, which is short for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. OPEC is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, and primarily exists to ensure a fair baseline market price for oil to prevent conflict, as most OPEC members are, well... not exactly the most peaceful countries. OPEC's members are: Algeria Angola Ecuador Equatorial Guinea Gabon Iran Iraq Kuwait Libya Nigeria Qatar Republic of the Congo Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates Venezuala You can probably see why OPEC has been allowed to exist. If it didn't, Iran and Saudi Arabia would be at a constant state of war with each other and Iraq and the UAE would likely end up as collateral, Venezuala would be even more fucked than it already is due to Ecuador and Equatorial Guinea likely deciding to team up and put them out of their misery (and take control of their oil), and Nigeria would have to deal with outside aggression in addition to their already rampant instability. I can kinda see the Domain of the Ice Queen/Architech deal as being a similar kind of deal, in addition to the fact that it helps Sahara compete with ConCorp by providing a product that ConCorp is unable to offer due to the current server politics.

For example: - Rockets (Mumbo has a creeper farm) - End rods (again, Mumbo has the farms) - Dried Kelp - Pumpkins & Melons - Carrots & potatoes - Sugarcane - Slime - Ice - Enchantment books and tools from Mumbos and your villagers - Redstone, Redstone related items and other witch farm drops - Beacons & Wither skeleton heads - Sand & Gravel or pre-made concrete powder (too bad 1.14 isn't released yet, because Mumbo could build an automatic concrete maker) And much more, I'm sure I forgot quite a lot of farms you three have! Iskal look at ilmangos ice farm he uses frostwalker to make ice on a big lake that allowes normal ice to form next to it which allows more ice to form more quickly because ice only spawns next to full blocks The frostwalker ice will go away but ice can form next to it before it's gone so more full blocks so faster ice forming that's better than only letting it grow on the edges of the lake

sahara™ could not only sale single products, but also all sort of kits! That way sahara™ can offer something the other shops don't have. It gives them an additional reason to visit sahara. A few examples could be: - Landscaping Kit : Shulker box with dirt, coarase dirt, podzol, stone, andesite, ... - Redstoner's Kit : Shulker box with all sorts of redstone equipment - Beacon Kit: Shulker box with Beacon and Iron Blocks ect. and a few trash boxes nobody needs but could sell well (like in real life): - "Shareholder's Suit box" with Black dyed leather armour, poppy, a fancy pocket watch, an armour stand, black wool for making your own moustache - "pyromanic box" with TNT, Flint and Steel, Redstone, Repeaters, Levers Just throwing out random ideas :-)

In my market structures class we've learned that sometimes there needs to be government intervention (price fixing between iskall and stress in this situation) or else two competing companies can outcompete each other untill their business is no longer profitable (the selling price is worth less than the time spent gathering the ice) considering stress is the icequeen and iskall just made a rather large ice farm I could see neither party wanting out of the ice game any time soon and would like to profit from their icy entrepreneurship

I think you should hide all the contracts in a secret compartment within a vault, to ensure that others, such as The ConVex or someone else who might want to prank or cause trouble, will not be able to get ahold of them. You could also store other items within said vault and secret compartment for safekeeping and/or enjoyment. In my opinion, it'd be a great utility after it's completion, and will assure you that your contracts are safe from the prying eyes of others. Also it'd be a very interesting project to see the ArchiTechs handle. and when I say vault I don't mean the type that you just made, I mean a super high security vault, on par with or perhaps superior to the one it the bank. this is just a request, but I hope it comes true as seeing it's development would be amazing. If you like the idea please notify Grian & Mumbo of it. I'm counting on you!

Iskall, Ice only forms when there is a non water/air block next to it, and the frosted ice from the frost walker enchantment is a block. Thus the ice can form faster. Either way, your design does the trick!

You guys should have an area for other hermits to sell their own stuff that you guys don’t have in stock as a temporary shop for them, but you have to make a partnership with them, so when they get their own shop, you can start selling whatever they have in stock. you can't break ice from frost walker but if you use armor stand with frost walker it updates the water and causes them to turn to ice faster

The frost walker boots are actually useful in big ice farms because they create little seeds from which the water can start to crystalize much faster. See ilmango's tour of the SciCraft ice farms. Also, that droppervator is still not fixed.
