Slabs, stairs and walls. Sooooo much possibility unlocked by the new blocks (and the stonecutter is really cool). I have a theory, however. The next update I feel might be an overhaul to the combat system. The smithing table and fletching table still have no use, but Mojang said they had big plans for them. In real life, smithing and fletching is used to make weapons and arrows. I think there will be new kinds of weapons and arrows, such as short swords, lances, claymores, spears, and maybe even bomb arrows in 1.15

1.14... the smoke from the campfires adds a lot of realism, love it. Foxes are too awesome to not be waiting for them (my favourite animal of course) The lanterns look great! Cartofraphy Tables adds a lot of functions! The scafolding was NEEDED Leather Horse Armor is awesome! and the Stonecutter, while hated, adds a lot of potential for future updates (mojang will not need more crafting recipes to make more block variants)

I’ve been using lighting glitches in my bases since the start of my playing this game. Really sad to see it go, but I am excited for the new features like the TnT and villagers. With TnT the way it is going to be now I really wonder why creepers don’t give you all the blocks they blow up. That would be awesome! Just think of the mining farms you could make... What if you tried to replicate the beacon effect symbols in the item frames? An arrow pointing up for jump boost, a pair of dyed leather boots for speed, a shield/red apple for resistance/regeneration, and a gold pickaxe for haste. Also I think the TNT change is going to be super useful and I can't wait to see what crazy machines the community builds. Great episode as always!

Hey Iskall, A suggestion for your power grid of beacons, you could replace the horse armour for jump boost with a rabbits' foot, which is used in the jump boost potion. Hope you consider it! :D

I really enjoyed that timelapse since you asked a question. Well, probably answer is the villages. I chose the villages because I would like to live there because of the raids, I really like those types of events in games and well, the villages is probably gonna be one of the most exciting and active places to live unlike living away and just building and mining without anything that fun happening. I may say that I'm much more of a PVP type of a person.

Minecraft 1.14 has a ton of things that I love! It's adding Lanterns, slabs for all the stone blocks, a campfire, a scaffolding block etc, and these are things that one could think these are things that should have been in the game long ago! I've never used TNT in a farm but the change of it sounds very awesome and it might actually get me into TNT-based farms. Foxed and pandas are adorable and it fills the world with more life and possibilities! As for the main part of the update, I'm hype about crossbows mainly and something about farming totems of undying? I saw a few videos popping up like that but I haven't checked them yet.

TNT changes are amazing, but the thing I'm most excited about is something most players will never deal with directly. There's a change to model/blockstate files that allows for custom tags to be added directly to blocks, which means that custom models will finally be able to be added to the game without modding. I'm super excited for all the texturepacks and custom blocks that are gonna be possible with this.

My favorite feature of 1.14 is the crossbow, and how you can use it in combat. You can have a charged crossbow in your off-hand, that has multishot and is charged with a very strong firework. And then, if you have to escape the battle quick, you can just instantly shoot a wall of explosion behind you. You should try it yourself, it is really cool!

btw, that chest means someone bought something from ConCorps shop, dirty deeds done dirt cheap. What happens there, is when you buy some dirt, you get a dirty deed, and you need to do what it says on that deed, and one of them was: "gift someone something useless", and whoever bought dirt, and got tht deed, used it on you.

@iskall85 if you are concerned about mobs spawning on the ice blocks maybe add cobwebs on top. This way even if mobs spawn they will be slow. In bedrock ice still forms under cobwebs. Although when I tested. The ice spawn was slow...

To answer your question, I am honestly just looking forward to the stairs and slabs. I'm not much of a redstoner, and I play in creative worlds atm, so... the fiery passion of going and finding this new Taiga with foxes is not there yet. Now, If I was to pull myself out of the creative world and pop back on a multiplayer server in survival, my answer would be different. I am by far most excited for the new villages, and scaffolding. I think the new villages give the player more reasons to go explore. I had no idea that tnt was getting a function update, and I am looking forward to seeing all the redstoners go nuts with that! lol. Everything this game is bringing to the table in this update seems to bring a level of completion to the string of massive updates they have rolled out. I am very pleased with the direction the game is taking, and glad to be a part of the community.

In a way, Iskall, you DO get an employee discount. In the form of a rebate that comes as part of your share of the diamonds. If it's split evenly between the three of you, spending 3 diamonds on something means you get one back.

Being able to control what profession your villager has is immense. with a few lecterns, getting the books you want will be a breeze.
