Grian, you are a nerd, and absolutely perfect for the hermitcraft server. You have a different style of video, a different viewpoint (having been mostly creative, rather than survival) and are far more mischievous than the hermits were prepared for. Just the tag game alone spawned an entire build and it evolved fast. I do believe you were a breath of fresh air for the hermits, making things a little bit different, and exciting. Grian, at around 19:30 you showed some confusion with the elevator system, the way that the observers works is that they detect any kind of block update, at all so the observers in each layer are looking at the water, so when the water changes from bubbly water to normal water, the observers detect that and output a redstone pulse

Hey Grian. (I don’t know if this works) You could try building a little wall (or even a pillar) that goes out into the middle of the matrix room. If you hide behind the wall/pillar no one would be able to see you or the wall until you jump out... just a fun idea (;

Dear Grian, I'm a brand new fan! It's kind of a long story how I ended up here, if you care to hear it. Well it started with my older brother being a huge minecraft nerd, he was always playing it and if he wasnt he was watching lets plays or listening to songs about minecraft and seemed to know it all. He tried his hardest to get me to play or to watch things with him or to watch him play but as much as I tried I just could not get into it. Well in May of 2016 my brother was taken from this life unexpectedly and it was the hardest thing ill ever have to go through and it seemed impossible to deal with the grief. One day someone suggested that I let my brother continue to live through me by enjoying the things he loved most in life so immediately I started playing minecraft. It was hard to get into it but it did help me feel closer to my lost brother so any time I would get sad or miss him I would turn the game on and play. Ive dedicated my entire minecraft world to him and too this day continue to build things I know would blow his mind because they are inspired after the names I remember hearing him say so many times back in the day. one of those names is someone I believe you know pretty well at this point "Rendog" and I remember bits and pieces of Rens first lets play survival that my brother use to watch so I subscribed to him and watched all 5 seasons of his first lets play and everything he has done on his new lets play as well as all of fool craft 3 and from there all of hermit craft 6 available to the world which is how I discovered your channel, and in the time since my brother has passed I have subscribed to so many amazing channels Rendog, Stressmonster101, Gaming on caffeine, Iskall85, Ethoslab, and now you. I know my brother would be in disbelief of all the amazing things going on inside of minecraft and even more surprised that I have gotten into as much as I have. Now I am to the point where I want to start my own lets play and maybe even join a server with all my brothers idols as well as mine on a future hermitcraft of something similar! thanks for being a part of this story and being such an awesome minecrafter and you just got a new biggest fan :) also sorry for the novel haha

that wasnt my intent when i said "policing". it is a large area that a single sign wont cut it, it is "in the middle of nowhere" and the travel time is a type of expense that may hurt sales, and then there is the transition into it being a product to sell during which it could be used for free with the "i didnt know" excuse potentially loosing sales. All of the points i bring up are also ignoring the resources the buyer would need in order to change it to the desired form, and the debate of charging for copies, which even on a "civil" server, may not be an easy pill to swallow.

@Grian: I am firmly a fan of yours! There are some days I forget you are older (is it 5 years?) than Mumbo, but I can't be more thrilled that you are a Hermit! My cynical side thinks they only wanted you because you have so many subs, but you wouldn't have so many if you were not so fun to watch! I admit to catching up on other Hermits this season (never having heard of most of them except Mumbo before the end of season 5), and I think they should thank you in private. I wouldn't be watching them if it were not for you joining season 6. However, now that I have, I am very grateful that I learned about them! There ARE a couple I don't enjoy, but for the most part, my day gets a LOT better when I watch Hermits making amazing builds and having fun and pulling pranks... and the list could probably go on for several lines... Really, thank you! Even if you never record another video (which would be very sad), you have introduced me to SO many amazing people to watch! Not just Hermits, but some of them have taken paths I am not interested in since you last recorded with them. I am very happy to watch most Hermit videos! I love the different points of view. IF I ever get caught up with all of them for season 6, I might go watch some of the previous seasons. They certainly earn at least a million subs each!

It may sound like a crazy idea, but you should make a "diamond shop" as you went shoping in your own building. Make a daily or weekly offer, so people go and buy diamonds with other stuff. For example, imagine you need a lot of acacia wood, so you go to your diamond shop and write: todays offer: 1 diamon per two stacks of wood, throw a bunch of diamonds into the chest, que wait till someone takes the diamonds and gives you the wood. Its like a reversed shop. Hope you underdtood me, sorry for the has english, im from Spain :)
