Hermitcraft 9: Mob Moving Day! (Ep. 80)

Welcome! Today we are playing Minecraft from the Hermitcraft Season 9 server and finally have all the mobs! Today we start moving mobs into our museum starting with the hostiles! Some things get out of hand but I think it is a good start! Then we meet up with @iJevin to discuss the purchase of a rare 'fossil' that he discovered underground. However, things aren't as they seem. I hope you enjoy!

For the charged creeper exhibit, you should have a jump scare using one of Scar's creeper suits in an armour stand. Complete with Creeper noise via music disc.

Maybe instead of putting the passive mobs in the "attic" how about remove the roof and treat it like an open air rooftop garden to show off the passive mobs and maybe some of the plants as well?

I remembered the other day that furnace minecarts exist. They are so much better for transport than trying to power a long rail line, and probably pushing shulkers in minecarts.

The husk parkour is so neat!!! I love how you utilised unique hitboxes to make the husks more of a consequence for failure rather than them constantly hitting you off

The museum needs an aquarium. Imagine an exhibit with dolphins, turtles, tropical fish, and the coup de grace could be a trident wielding drowned. Just keep the axolotls in a separate tank, leave an air gap at the top for the dolphins to breathe, and all the ocean life could coexist in one space.

Another ultra-satisfying episode!! I love this museum content so much. And all the interactive exhibits - the husk parkour is a small piece of the episode but seeing hermits attempt it will be a highlight of their episode. I was so bummed about the original boat creepers but you made it work with “historical stand-ins” lol and the lazy river is such a cool exhibit to watch them go round and round and round… The shulker mistake was so unexpected but it was also a delight seeing you work out how to fix it. A masterclass in relocating hostile mobs! And I had no idea fossils only are found in two biomes! You’re too smart! The fossil looks absolutely fantastic hanging in Cleo’s museum, even if it is a fake. xD

As soon as I saw you not flip the switch back I knew there would be trouble. I’m screaming at the phone “Cub the switch!” “Cub Cub” to no avail. Everything else was pretty smooth except for those creepers (No one will know). The habitats for each of these mobs are fire! Building skills just mental! Jevin can’t out wit you. Why would he try! I might have taken those diamonds to even out the cost of wasting your time on a fraudulent archeological dig. But cleverly you gifted it to Celo and even paid him to deliver and install it making you the nicest guy in Minecraft.

In my experience, rolling a minecart over a curverd rail diagonally adjacent to a shulker is a 100% reliable way of putting a shulker in a minecart (as the minecart travels across this corner, its hitbox intersects with that of the shulker, picking it up).
