Hermitcraft season 8 episode 2! We start out Ep 2 of Hermitcraft S8 in the caves looking for copper and diamonds. Once we are out of the caves we start a new service in the Boatem village for waxing copper and meet up with Mumbo, Impulse, and Grian. @@giornogiovanna9290 Bedrock currently has a bug where Diamond Ore doesn't generate as plentifully. You can dig for hours and never find any. I was told this is because they're going to push the world limit down to Y = -64 and so pushed Diamond Ore also further down to below Y = 0. But because Cave&Cliffs was split in half, the Ore was pushed down but not the dig limit. So all the Diamonds on Bedrock are generating IN Bedrock.

That's actually kind of a problem imo. It's something I especially noticed with everybody stacked on top of each other with the proximity chat in 3rd life...i was watching the same conversation and the same gatherings over and over, 5 and 6 times. That got a little tedious and discouraged me from watching additional perspectives. I feel like they need a place to come together and space to do their own thing so it doesn't get repetitive.

yep! i agree. and visiting other hermits' bases mean more inter-hermit interactions. however, it would make it taxing to fly around (or walk around pre-elytra) to everybody's base to see what they're selling. perhaps the hermits would have to do some advertising for their shops.... door to door salemanship...

DIdn't see anyone answering this but yes: Mojang did update the diamond texture as well. They preserved the shape, but added more color contrast to make it not only stand out, but so that the colors match its Deepslate counterpart, for which that contrast was sorely needed for visibility.

Scar, the next time you go mining, take a crafting table with you so that you can turn the raw ores into raw ore blocks. That will save up a lot of inventory space. Then you can turn the raw ore blocks back into raw ores to smelt them.

Scar, you can make raw copper and raw iron into blocks, like how redstone can be made into blocks, to save inventory space. Just take a crafting table with you. Or, really, take some logs- it's a good idea to bring some logs when you go mining, so you can make sticks for tools, torches, and a crafting table as needed.

The Grian - Mumbo Bromance is life goals. Also Scar, the trading post could be a steam punk traveling blimp caravan. That way you have a perfect narrative to how the trading posts travels around the island and how it pops up in multiple locations. then later in the season you can make a secret blimp in the sky shop (like sneeke -ee's last season) for special deals. and i can already see it. BLIMP WARS!

W/ regards to the blimps a cool place to take inspiration from could be from aerostats/balloon things designed for the Venus atmosphere; Eg. NASA’s HAVOC (High Altitude Venus Operational concept); which is basically a cool zeppelin design the soviet Vega 1& 2 descent stages (little balloon parachutes) Another cool idea could be little trading shops based on Desert skiffs and Jabba’s barge, or some variation with sails for like a desert pirate/trader vibe

You can craft the raw copper into raw copper blocks when mining to save inventory space :) same with coal. You can change them back later
