Oof! Toothache is the worst! Pain potentiates adrenaline, which is related to pain relief while moving. If you don’t use it, it can block pain relief meds. If your pain reliever seemingly isn’t working, try ten to twenty minutes of fast-paced walking just after taking the pain reliever. The pacing will move the adrenaline out of the way and allow the pain reliever to work much more efficiently and quickly. And, yes, I learned this through experience. Wishing you all the best. ❤

Great episode. Level 50 really changes the difficulty of elixir. Plus at lvl 50 there are more distractions with altars, and you're covering more rooms looking for the good rooms, so it can be harder to complete vaults.

14:16 _"No amount of skill... will ever help you in a scavenger vault."_ - agreed there's too much RNG in scav vaults, but there is stuff you can do to improve! - Trying to focus on the specific objectives you actually need, and skipping all those extra chests that you want but don't actually need (and/or avoiding combat if it's not actively blocking your objective!) feels counter-intuitive when you're still learning VH, but is pretty essential for completing vault objectives with bad RNG. Vault loot is infinite - there will always be more vaults and more chests to grab - so try not to feel bad about going past loot without grabbing it haha. I know it's painful, but reward crates for harder objectives like scavenger hunts are more valuable than a few extra chests! - Knowledge & experience counts for more than you'd think! A lot of your time is still being spent on discovery - "ooh, what is this? where are the chests here? is this room actually valuable to me?". There are only so many pre-defined POIs, so the more you play, the more you'll become familiar with, and the less time you need to spend figuring out what's up. For example, often (especially in a scav vault) you may be better off just skipping unique 'omega rooms' entirely if you already know the one you found doesn't give anything you're looking for. Your general knack for scanning rooms for points of interest & mobility for getting about the place as efficiently as possible just keeps going up with experience. One thing iskall seems to forget is that this modpack is tuned for players with a lot of experience, and he's perhaps too out of touch now to realise just how much of a difference that makes. Sorry for the wall of text, hope it doesn't come across as backseating! Loving the playthrough, thanks for uploading more episodes than that slacker Hypno haha!

In that Dungeon where you died... there actually was 1 champion mob. Some affixes on Champion Mobs are shared to nearby mobs so thats what you saw, the champion shared his frost effect to other skeletons nearby up to a max (here it was 2 shares)

I've watched so many different VH SMP vids and I have never seen anyone reset their tool on bugged chests by clicking on a different block, I never knew that worked. I always just opened the chest when i get that bug. I even see Iskall opening the chest when he gets that bug.

Since you and Hypno are running a lot together and now that you have a Relic completed, make sure you are the one who activates the portal with the crystal. Otherwise you wont have the bonus time applied

Scavs are RNG but you're also very slow compared to the others. If you hit more loot you have more chances to get the right drops. The people on the streamer SMP:VH, that somewhat created the balance, were kinda insane. Iskall hits 300 chests in the vault and says it's low... So being able to complete the scav with half the loot opportunity will feel like it's super hard to beat.

Absolutely loving the Vault Hunter content. I'm glad to see so many Hermits learning VH and being great learners. If you dont mind me asking, what is your favorite thing about it so far? Im a fan of the Idol charms. (Better than when they were totems and took your off hand slot)

Scav vault required multiple skill set, the most important thing is making priority. Also skill to build a good tools for looting, +item rarity and +item quantity is really good for scav in general... Also I wonder why your armor is very low for level 51, should be around 50+ armor in that level... Maybe you need big armor upgrade... Cz after level 50 mobs hit like a truck...

I've done the fish spawner myself, it is hilarious.... don't do it with guardians. All aquatic creatures end up doing that zoom thing and well.... yeah.

I'm right there with you on Scav vaults. You can play the vault perfectly, you can even get all the POIs you'd need, and you can still fail the objective because it didn't roll the correct items. I don't understand why iskall insists they are the best, they're incredibly unfun. Elixirs are definitely the easiest but out of all the objectives I feel like they have the most fair completion rate while still keeping in the spirit of the modpack: looting the vault. Monoliths and Obelisks force you to ignore the loot to focus on the objective, and Scavs are just gambling on your completion.

beating scavs requires super efficient looting. if your run back showed all the rooms you'd looted, it wasn't enough to find all the scav items. this isn't a dig or anything. I can't do it either.
