@Djwakez Not fully, his "Mounds" remind me of BroodMothers webs, only bonus with the mounds is free teleportation. it seems they based the hero off of BroodMother and built from there (remember broodmother could create spiderlings to maximize damage) Very similar to tembles sidekick

@D3athstalk3r I sure did :) i dont mean its the same hero, but they have taken broodmother as a platform to build on. Same thing with scout and Gondar, they have invis, crit, toss-ability and a tracking ability (wards and Gondars ulti)

last part is a hint to us, scouts long lost cousin rick will be a new hero coming in the next patch. His skills: screech(sings to his target and stops them running around and stops allies deserting you), hairstyle(styles enemy hair and makes them cry), *passive* coolness(he gets a longer coat per level) *ultimate*rick roll(death)

Tremble is one of the best early to mid-game carry heroes in HoN, he's literally like a fat Predator in the early to mid game munching on his opponents and very hard snowbally hero. Can go up against almost any carry... He got his peak about 6 years before HoN closed.

Fayde tremble and predator got changes way beyond its original, especially considering the old fayde. Ye pretty much share 1 or 2 similar spells as in Dota. Naxi have no gap closer, the rage does not give ammor bt attack speed, the ulti is completely diffrient. They litrually have 2 similar spell on life gain and spell immune. Nyx litrually only have 1 stun spell similar, lined stun and its not a dot, the ulti does not provide Nyx tree walking, and the old fayde ulti is diffrient too.

@sebbenrock2 I'm not saying about their names...you can't say they are uncreative just because of that.I'm saying about new and interesting abilities,that is what matters,and is a lot harder to create than a name.as I said,I play dota,not hon,but after seeing heroes like artesia and monkey king,I can say they are creative...it's not easy to create new interesting abilities in such a big existing abilities pool,and then you have to balance them...I think they're doing a good job

Tremble is not "just like broodmother". He is similar - the attack passive and mound abilities are obviously broodmother inspired, but have been changed enough to be a different ability. Tremble's first ability and ulti are completely different from broodmother's. However, Tremble seems to fill a similar roll as broodmother: mid-game agi carry and pusher, but Tremble is also billed as a ganker, which broodmother definitely was not. tl;dr: Some similarities to broodmother, but overall good hero.

@someguy459 Yes, most people who did post their test results did have lags. I cannot give a correct answer for that question, as I only could see the results posted by people. I do not know exactly how many people are from that specific region. I am not doubting anyone dude. I am asking you if it is only possible for people who have very high internet connection speeds to play HoN without any lags, regardless of the region of the world they are from. I accept art has no impact, but is needless.

@someguy459 I remember that some time back S2 asked all forum goers to test their ping with 2 servers, one in france and another in USW I think. Most people from the east did report that they did have lags, even on the servers not asked to report. From what you say, only people who can afford a high speed internet can play HoN? If that is the case, then why price HoN @ 30$? It is becuz patches take time, S2 needs to start earlier. As for art, ppl who want balanced game wont worry about it.

His mound is destructible also. Really the only similar skill is the passive, and even that isn't even that similar, since Brood's never gave lifesteal, only a slow and chance to miss IIRC. He's a completely different unique hero.

@datifu there is a big diffrence beetween LoL and HoN, main diffrence is that the creators of LoL wanted their players to have action instantly hence why the hereos has bigger manapools, 2 extra spells, masteries and runes, they have based their game on ganking, HoN is more of PVE then PVP since as u all know, the best farmed wins..

@MiguelGalit can't you get the basic concept? its broodmother copy and just enhanced it. Starcraft? of course, DotA was starcraft inspired also which blizzard (is warcraft 3) also made. Tremble looks more like Anub'arak rather than your starcraft though.

@ArmandKenpachi the hero is OP and i'm telling that from personal experience, there's absolutely no match for him if you play him mid correctly, i've pretty much played with him mid against everything ranging from soulstealer to keeper. if your opponent dies once or leaves the lane and fails a gank then mid lane is gg. anti invis ward does counter him however a good tremble will usually carry one himself to counter that ;)

@someguy459 When contributions are very bad, it means they are worthless, right? Increase in player base will take eons, especially when HoN has zero advertising. So I feel that No Stat games can be made playable in LAN, which will inturn improve a player's experience and quality. As for visuals, I completely agree it looks great. What I meant to say is that S2 need not waste their time by introducing Goblin shop and all those extra frills. HoN is perfect with out those frills, imho.
