It's interesting to think about how wonky this timeline gets going forward. Loki doesn't go to Thanos to lead his army. He doesn't have the scepter to lose on Earth, so likely no Wanda/Pietro, no Ultron, no Vision. Whiplash is still active with Justin Hammer, AIM is still working on Extremis, Peter Parker gets his powers in a few years and maybe gets on Fury's radar. Scott Lang doesn't get recruited by Hank and Hope, so no current Ant-Man or Wasp. No Ultron/Vision means that Zemo doesn't go on his anti-super soldier spree because his family doesn't die when Sekovia is dropped.

Bucky is still Winter Soldier under Hydra, No Black Widow to help Steve confront him, unless Carol help him along with The Falcon, Dark Elves will not be awaken because Jane will not find The Aether, the event on Dr.Strange will still happen, Thanos or his "Childrens" will come to collect the Time Stone and Tesseract, no Civil War event happen, after Bucky disappear at the end of Captain America 2, he will have a lot of time to recover his memories, King T'Chakka will live, the delay date of T'Challa become Black Panther, Killmonger maybe having a hard time to attack Wakanda while King T'Chakka still alive, because W'kabi will not betray Wakanda, so no help from his tribe, Valkyrie still in exile, Hela will still in her banishment/ prison, because Odin will not lose his power like in Thor 3, because Loki did not strip him from his power, don't what will happen in event of 'Avengers: Infinity War', Thanos most likely will have 3 Infinity Stones easily, don't know will the GOTG will meet with Thanos or not, Gamora will likely disappear with the GOTG to avoid Thanos know where the Soul Stone is....

My thoughts on the Avengers line-up that would have emerged in the continuity of this episode: - Captain America (Steve Rogers) - same as original line-up - Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) - taking the place of the Hulk as the "powerhouse" - War Machine (James Rhodes) - taking Hawkeye's place; Rhodey does have armor at this point, since he took the armor from Tony before the donut scene. But, Rhodey isn't really the same as Tony. Rhodey will be all about tricking his suit out with specialized weaponry. - Lady Sif (I imagine that she would rebel against Loki at some point) - taking the place of the Asgardian on the team - The Cavalry (Melinda May from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) - taking the place of Black Widow; a kick-ass spy who is a loyal agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., but comes with some personal baggage; Coulson, who is her longtime friend, is the one who brings her onto the team and convinces her to join despite her reluctance. - Black Panther (T'Challa) - taking the place of Iron Man; brought in because Wakanda realizes that it needs to help defend the world from hostile takeover by Loki. The "Avengers" movie would be about avenging the world from takeover by Loki. Unlike the original movie, Loki actually seems to have won this time. So, there's not necessarily a need for Agent Coulson to die. Of course, the vectors of disagreement would be wildly different in this version. The original movie had such an excellent mix of different personalities that clashed vibrantly. Here's how I imagine the conflicts going: Steve, Carol and James all share a background in the US military. So, they share something of a common language of duty and service. However, they each come from a slightly different era, and bring slightly different experiences, and their assumed similarities actually mask some pretty significant differences. Carol, having been in space for a while at this point, will have the most divergent perspective, since her eyes have been opened to an entire galaxy of different ways of being. As in the original series, Steve will become disillusioned with the kinds of compromises modern society has made, putting him at odds with Rhodey (remember they were on opposite sides, ideologically, in Civil War). Lady Sif will have the same god-like aloofness as Thor, making assumptions about the world in a fish-out-of-water sort of way. She is more rash than others, willing to take greater risks, even foolish risks. Melinda May will bring the reluctance that the Hulk had, though, of course, she is much less strongly powered. But, inevitably, she always wins in a fight. She is extremely resourceful, using anything around her as a weapon. Unlike Hulk, however, she will not take anyone's B.S. She's not as unsure of herself as Banner is; she's just reluctant to fight. Still, unlike the others, she is a spy -- used to working more covertly, to keeping secrets. Like Widow, she's loyal to Nick Fury, and willing to go behind people's backs. This will put her at odds with the others. T'Challa will have the internal conflict of wanting to help save the world, but also to not reveal all of Wakanda's secrets. That inner tension from Black Panther the movie will come to the fore. T'Challa is ultimately the wisest and most thoughtful. He grounds the team in a sense of morality, and care of people. Like Tony was, he is also a "technologically-based hero" (and, in the comics, a genius and inventor in his own right...); though Wakanda also has imbued in him a sense of spirituality that Tony lacked. Wakanda will eventually be the one to both invent the technology for this team, and to provide the background funding after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the reveal of Hydra. Rhodes and T'Challa will experience some conflict, as T'Challa is much more of a pacifist than Rhodey. There are also class differences between the two, as T'Challa is the son of a royal family, while Rhodey is solidly middle class American.

I don’t think T’Challa would have been there. Since Tony was killed, there wouldn’t be an Ultron. And then, the events of Civil War wouldn’t happen because Zemo wouldn’t have been plotting for revenge. As a result, I think T’Chaka and T’Challa would still hold there isolationist decisions. And despite all that, the first Avengers event would happen years before he would even consider helping out.

So I don’t think Fury would approach them because he thinks they’re a third world nation. And Loki wouldn’t know about them. But if he rules the world, then it might actually make the Wakandans further protect themselves only in their formidable invisible bubble.

A fun but of trivia, the mission they say hope died on was the one Black widow mentioned in cap 2, that she ran in to the winter soldier. Also for the new line up I think captain marvel is a good stand in for Thor. Really strong, very durable, can shoot some form of energy. And I can't think of a great replacement for hulk but maybe these changes would let Amadeus Cho become the hulk cause his mom was in Age of Ultron. She wouldn't die without tony creating Ultron so maybe that opens up the opportunity for him.

If you had listened carefully you would have noticed that Loki introduced himself as crowned prince of Asgard and called Thor also crowned prince of Asgard. So, maybe in this universe both would have been meant to be king. That's why Sif and the Warriors Three and the whole Asgardian Army is with Loki. Maybe Odin isn't in Odinsleep and sent Loki to earth, because Thor was killed. To me it seemed that the relationship between Thor and Loki and Odin was different (better) than it was in the movies.

With Asgard's full support most likely. Their crown prince got murdered. They are a warrior race. You think Odin and Frigga would ignore their child getting murdered when retribution clearly is possible? obv not. And I believe Loki cares about his brother. Earth should be doomed. If anything, It wouldn't surprise me if Odin's only ammendment is noting that destroying the planet is as acceptable as subjugation (He's been bloodthirsty before, greif would be enough to bring it back)

I think that the What If stories in this 1st season are from the 1st multiversal war that was mentioned in Loki and they will converge into the sacred timeline. That would allow them to be canon in the MCU.

Though i am a bit upset you don't think much about clint, sure, he's definitely not the strongest, but he is a good man, and he has a family. Personally his death hurt me the most. I like the idea that Asgard units over the Death of Thor. LOKI is told hes a frost giant(maybe), at least Odin sent Loki to Earth for revenge and to restore order.

I don't quite remember the timeline of Thor 1, but Odin might have been Odin Sleep at the time of Thor attempting to get the hammer, so Loki likely took advantage of the situation when Heimdall relays Thor's death to Frigga.

What if… Cap gets to wield Mjolnir earlier than usual, as Thor never gets a chance to get it, and Odin just leaves the hammer there as it’s Asgard’s world now. Cap with Mjolnir and Cap Marvel, as well as whoever Nick Fury gets for Avengers, would take down Loki. Possibly they do this continuation in season 2… what do y’all think??

The NEW Avengers eventually: Steve, Carol, Strange, Maria Hill(Widow), Jane(Thor), Falcon, Spiderman, Black Panther. Loki about to get whooped. Regarding the continuity of this show, I think every episode has led to the rise of a singular Avenger/character. Maybe that character shows up in Multiverse of Madness? These are all the consequences of Endgame(leading to Loki Series).

Darren Cross could be the Ant Man of this universe. He could call himself Paladin, but he might not become M.O.D.O.K.🤔 Betty Ross or her father General Ross could become Red Hulks. I'm sure the government can still find some use from Hulks remains.

New Avengers without the original Avengers Initiative: Captain America (Steve Rogers) Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) War Machine (James Rhodes) Black Panther (T'Challa) Goliath (Bill Foster - bring him out of retirement because of Hank Pym) Ghost (Ava Starr - brought in with Bill) A very diverse team with unique power sets that could probably accomplish much of what the OG Avengers did in 2012, and maybe even more! At least they wouldn't have to fight Ultron, and then there wouldn't be the Sokovia Accords, and so when Thanos eventually comes to Earth, they might be better prepared as a team.
