Crystal you are so much fun!!!! As others have said that ball of sock yarn will make at least one pair of socks, as long as they aren't knee highs or extra large mens size. I usually have some left over and I wear a size 12 womens. I use the extra in scrap blankets. And again as others have said if you want matching socks you will need to manage the color when you start the sock and how you make the heels. I enjoy knitting socks, have knit over a hundred pairs. If you don't want to knit them I would knit them for you 🤗

The Herrshners stripes yarn is a 10 for me! It’s super soft, great colors, it’s a good 4 weight, not a skimpy 4. And the ball goes on forever! 12 oz and the price is very good for the amount of yarn. I also bought the Christmas stripes and made your front post hat and then a basket and there was still lots left! I gave the rest of the ball to my daughter. The Merry Berry,holly levels, starlite, surgcookie, twinkle and Soot the Soho playful are really beautiful! The Sundance Suites are very nice too! Really like the green and gray! Green apples so nice. The Latte Tweed is really nice! Wow I can't wait to hear all about the merry sock yarn cuz I really like the Christmas colors they look beautiful! I think it make a really beautiful shawl for socks.

You can knit two socks with 100 grams of yarn. The biggest part of it will be the color pattern of the yarn if you want matching socks. Or you could make one long sock then cut in half for two pairs (pick up stitches on either side of where you want to cut with waste yarn and needle) then, with your crochet skills figure out a ribbing at top, decrease for toes, and a heel (only cut one side of sock). You can use a different color or some of the leftover yarn. Many videos on how to do heels for a sock tube on youtube. With your ability to crochet anything, you can figure out. I knit socks and do a little crochet. There are tutorials to pick up knit stitches and convert to crochet. I believe in you! Make some socks!
