I think it's the ventilation that's the biggest difference. 3.0s are pretty warm which made them pretty decent during chilly temperatures. This gave birth to the ATR using the same idea. These have a lot more vents so they would be better in the summer. I'm still looking to grab a pair of Stan Smith boost PK for summer instead though.

I’m not a fan of the ultra boost 3.0 simply for the knit pattern without ventilation. The 3.0 look really cheap with a knit pattern of a Nmd. I’m so glad adidas went back to a knit pattern with ventilation. I’m really glad you made this video, so many friends didn’t understand what I was talking about when explaining the difference, I think sneakerheads don’t care much for the simple details & more worried about what’s on foot.

Picked up the triple white 4.0. Couldn't be happier. The 3.0 was too thin to me and really loose. 4.0 is thicker and feel more snug. Plus the 1.0 is a huge plus. Great video

i just got my ultraboosts today and the first time I put them on it was so wierd because I've never worn anything like them. I did feel elevated although im 6'2, also, like every one else that has ultraboosts says, they're *dumb* comfy! The best way to explain the sole imo is imagining that youre walking on a slightly resistant spong (?). But yeah, though they are pricey, I did find a pair on Amazon for $160 USD, and they are 4.0's + they are autentic.

The UB 4.0 has been loose on the heel for my left foot. It’s never been loose with my 1.0’s to 3.0’s. I always feel like my left foot is going to pop out.

All the ultra boosts 1.0 - 4.0 all included the size tag and continental tag here in Europe (in the UK anyway). It was only in the states where they only had the continental tag, strange.

Hey stumbled across your review as i bought 3 pairs of these ultra boost over past month from Adidas web site (NYC Bodega, then Black with Black cage and just got the Tech Ink delivered Friday. But none came with ANY paper or cardboard insert your video shows. Weird I had tried on a pair of these over the summer at Finish Line which showed me I needed them up 1/2 size. None of them had that insert either in the shoe or box nor did they have a Continental tag? Also I have searched but can't find reason the sole extends past heel cup on shoes? What purpose does it serve other than getting caught on something and being separated from shoe?
