I honestly thought that people would say similar things and that I'd be able to make this a Top 10 assumptions about me video, but that was NOT the case! An introvert is not someone who doesn't like being with people. And introvert is simply someone who finds extended social interaction physically/mentally draining and conversely, being by themselves, comfortable and recharging. An extrovert is the inverse because they rely on interacting with others to be fulfilled. Introverts can still very much enjoy socializing with others, and do. If you like hanging out with your friends, don't mind being alone and don't like large groups of people, you're likely an introvert. I am very similar. It doesn't mean that you're asocial or lack social skills or something. Too many people conflate introversion with those things. Cheers.

I hadn't had any serious interest in clothing and my appearance for a couple of decades of my life. Partly because stylish people associated with being snobby and arrogant, and I simply refused to strive for that. When I came across your video about dressing casually like an adult it caught me not only because it showed a lot of details that I could pay attention to, but also because your way of telling things and looking good excludes that looking down ingredient. So not only did I find what I was interested in at the time but it also clicked in my mind and I started watching everything on your channel. Finally I threw away that jacket that I never wore and bought one that I use once in a while and the one that I started receiving compliments for. I appreciate what you do and I'm happy with the amount of humor there is on your average video (which is not plenty). I watch your videos for inspiration, not for laughing my head off :)

You should take the Myers Briggs personality test. It will give you some very good insight as to introvert / extrovert, and a number of other personality traits. You can do it online and it has much information written about all of the potential results from the test. It was really eye opening to me and has helped me be aware of my blind spots and traits that I can work on.

I am 40 years old, work as a management consultant from home and have limited social opportunities. I would like to have an updated style… but don’t see the need for 99% of what you are showing in your videos. Your outfits only make sense if I am going somewhere to be seen. What advice do you have for normal people who may work from home and go do regular things like walking around their neighborhood, going to the grocery store or gym? I don’t have a need or desire to get dressed in a suit or blazer while working from home or any of your other outfits in my daily life? What do you have for normal men who don’t live in NYC or LA?

Fun video, Brian! Not so much an assumption, but a question / personal concern of mine, is the environmental impact of purchasing clothing. It's well known that textiles are among the most taxing personal purchases we humans make, so I often find it difficult justifying buying new garments... despite my vast interest in clothing.
