This song, aptly named “I’m Goin’ to Saint Louis,” borrowed a lot of its melody and rhythm from a Glenn Miller hit “Saint Louis Blues,” released exactly twenty years before in 1944.

I am just wondering if you could upload the full album to KZbin as individual videos meaning all the vocal tracks as well as all the instrumental tracks and also make a playlist with all the tracks in the order that they are on the record in high quality I see that the vocal tracks are already on KZbin but not the instrumental tracks which I would like to see uploaded so that the full record would be available online on KZbin

I'm trying to figure out if this was written for the movie or if it was already a song
@johntapp72323 жыл бұрын
It was already a song. Glenn Miller released “Saint Louis Blues” back twenty years prior, in 1944. Both songs share similar melody and rhythm-though the ‘64 rendition has a faster tempo.

@@ansumanahargett6227 Not in a kid's move would those bears do anything funny or wild to Cindy. That train conductor stopped them from doing anymore monkey business at the end of the song in the movie, and those bears went right back into their cage.

Agreed. I was when this was out and I made damn sure that the copy I bought was stereo. I think you paid and extra buck or so back then but...

Most pop music produced prior to the late 1960s was intended to be heard in mono.

Yeah-and automotive air conditioning was a luxury item until 1968-when all AMC Ambassadors made for that year’s model were so equipped.
@robertorick63832 жыл бұрын
@@ksteiger I think Colpix Records made an error on the stereo mixing on this song. The rest of the album is in true stereo, but here you can hear a glitch at 1:36 when the song transforms from fake stereo to true stereo accidentally for only a few seconds. Colpix also did a similar error on the stereo copies of "Freddy Scott Sings" LP. Original 1964 pressings on the gold label are true stereo, while second pressings on a powder blue label from 1965 are in fake electronic stereo. It has to be an engineer/sound mixer's technical glitch.
