Surf fishing 101: HOW TO CATCH FISH by Reading Waves!

Never know where to cast while beach fishing? This fishing tutorial is all about reading the waves and finding all of the places where the fish like to hide on the beach! These tips always help me to catch more fish while saltwater fishing and I hope they help you as well!
This week, I am beach camping with my dad, my mom, and Erin. We are hoping to target some big red drum and maybe some bluefish so we can cook up a nice meal together. Me and my girlfriend started fishing some months back. We’ve both done it as kids and re established the love. And we absolutely love you two. Thank you for announcing what the catch is - while I’ve caught many blues, I’ve never seen a red or black drum, and never been the one pulling up a flounder. Tho, flounders are fairly easy to ID... just ask the boys of the delta house, lol

I caught my first red drum 🤩 I saw how you put live bait on the circle hook tried it. Hooked it behind shoulder of live pin fish. Like 15 minutes later bam my first red drum 🥳

21:50 that was a big fish for sure! That's how the fish we call Kabeljou or Mulloway take on live mullet in the surf here in South Africa , they look similar to the Drum that you caught and they get very big. My PB is 50lb and 54 inches, you should definitely give it a try Brendon if you want to target monsters. I use a rig similar to the fish finder rig for them I just use a longer leader for the hook.
