if you hate the Ai voices, use an extencion called "Transpose ▲▼ pitch" to change the voices into something better. I wish there was better app with more settings but it works.

i really prefer the tts. no weird forced accents, mistakes are spoken confidently with no stutter or repeating which is surprisingly less disruptive, and i know its a machine so i dont expect as much

Good TTS is good. Most TTS is bad, usually used improperly or uploaded by creators chasing a few bucks, too lazy to fix the errors or insufficiently fluent in the target language to notice errors. This channel is far better than most.

it's an interesting theme to display the simple misunderstandings others of different backgrounds could easily arise and spiral out of control. the added perspective of other species and even true AI really dives home how important it is to understand others to an intimate level if we ever truly want an opportunity of peaceful negotiations on equal grounds.

I think what’s happening is that the narration is being done on the original story, and the subtitles are being made from the narration

@@BNSG19 This sounds exactly like TTS that needs a few tweaks. The errors are consistent on the words. It then does a STT for the subtitles. Its very noticeable in some of the other stories when it does a garbled sound between chapters due to unicode chars that look like one thing but TTS doesnt process correctly.

This story, while decent, I couldn't finish it. The governments reaction to a new alien is outright ridiculous. I could see that reaction if it was the first species ever seen, but they had seen other and worked with others before. It's like the species just evolved yesterday and still had 100% of it's original base decision making in charge. The AI then desides I love my captian so to show this love I am going to completely destroy his mission to keep him from finding out that the aliens he killed were because of this planet. It was hard to keep into a realistic scenerio before, but none of the AI's decisions are making sense. I had to stop listening at that point... Oh well, i enjoy a lot of the other content though.
