To the Helen show, Thank you for allowing Zinah Mineyehal to share his success story. I know him personally. Zinah is a multitalented person who would have been anything he wanted in life. He is also a good friend, honest, hardworking, motivated, and who will be there if one needs his help.

WOW. Ato Zinah Minyahel's story is so amazing and inspiring. (Forget the other one I know him and he lies), Ato Zinah is mature and visionary. I wish there are other ways to share his amazing story. ( Please cut or crop the video just to share Ato Zinah's story only. Let me know I can help with that.

I am not by any means downplaying his efforts , what i was saying was ; his story is the story of the majority of Ethiopians and actually he is from a well to do family by any account for the time , yet i don't blame helen , whom i like her , but she is from the "lost city kids" who knows abroad than their country....i hope you understand me.
@nunu73533 жыл бұрын
It all depends who says it, lost kids for is are Amhara children whom often never go back to where they come from

Are you promoting migration
@zinahmineyahl9184 жыл бұрын
No one is promoting migration here. There are many people that are successful without leaving home. If your life is at risk and going somewhere else is your only choice then that becomes a personal decision. There were some of my friends that decided to stay and they perished in the hands of the Derg. Let us not give the wrong meaning to the story. Everyone makes their own personal decision and no one is being encouraged to follow a specific formula but instead to take any lesson we can learn from each other.

Smh Helen , you don't know your country provinces and you ask Ethiopians .btw his life is not any different than the 50s and 60s youth of Ethiopians and actually he is from a privileged family to go from shebel berenta to Markos
@nubianabyssinia47604 жыл бұрын
Well, he didn't talk about any servant or so in the house. Rather he said he left his parents at 12 and stayed with relatives to pursue his education as any ordinary family kid. where is the privilege is reflected here? if you understand no matter what his family is, the life path he came through is the same as all others. Being negative and denial wouldn't serve the truth.
@solomondesta84844 жыл бұрын
Had he not been from the privileged he wouldn't have gone from Wonberma to Markos , and i am happy for him and i am not being negative..

@@solomondesta8484 the most important thing for anyone is your dream and the courage you have to chess your dream. In old times, i know many people who went to Addis Ababa escaping from their family in Gojjam and achieved a very high level education. so here it is his courage.

@@solomondesta8484 From "Wonmbera"?, which in Metekel. Maybe you meant to say Berenta. Either way it goes, my story is about how I overcame the challenges I faced since childhood. In most cases, I walked barefoot, I walked for four hours one way to pick my monthly allowance traveling from Debre Markos to Irobu Gebeya as a child and alone. My biggest challenge was leaving Ethiopia during the Derg to Sudan without anyone's help then to Kenya then now in the USA. I was not able to share my full story but did my best with the time Helen and I had. It is disappointing to read comments that miss the bigger story. The message does not really apply to everyone but to those that can learn from it.

Zinah Mineyahl I only see a couple of comments which are indifferent to the story and life lessons you shared with us. It is so inspiring regardless. God bless
