I watched every Hi-Point video on KZbin, I bought a C9 2 years ago. I love it, bought the JXP 10 just over a week ago. It's a tack driver. I had to have the 10 because it's huge and I think it's a gorgeous firearm. Thank You for your reviews I enjoyed them and used your tips to make them run smoothly. Well, I bought one and just got it out to the range today. Now I’ve owned several hi points over the years, and am now down to just this one and the jhp 45. This is a very strange feeling thing to shoot. I had trouble finding the break on the trigger, and the impulse of the slide moving is very strange. It’s very different than my 45 jhp. Anyway, it’s gonna take some more practice to master. Overall, I can’t complain given how cheap it was.

@What's Up? Yep, I have an excellent vision coverage plan, get my eyes checked annually, and all up-to-date on my lenes, so thanks for asking and for caring! As I said, this model's looks are a little better than prior Hi-Point generations: so, in other words, a little less ugly. I still prefer my Sig, Smith, Walther, Beretta, etc., always. I get the hate on Hi-Points (looks, functionality, cheap pot metal pots); but reliability seems to be going for them. Hence, my comparison to the P series Rugers of the 1990s. From the ones I have saw and the ones I have read about the gun is pretty much flawless up on firing. Various 10 mm rounds and even 40 S&W ran great. No I do not own one but I plan on it soon just because it’s a 10 mm and there are haters in this world for the Hi-Point and I know it will work. I saw one review where a guy was using his reloads and complaining about failures to feed factory ammo works fine. When I get one I will replace the rear sight and add the Picatinny rail and red dot and yes use it to hunt with just because I can. I have a couple of real nice high end 10 mm and I think this one will fit in there just for fun.
