This was excellent - learned something else, just fab. While this was just a rectangle, what about more complicated shapes like a rock or a house with many more facets to it?

This Blender tutorial looks like a great way to learn how to reduce a high-resolution photogrammetry building model into a low-poly, game-ready model while still retaining the fine details of the original hi-res model. Definitely worth checking out!

I want to extract the topography from a 3d scan but without the buildings and trees, but it has really been difficult for me to maintain the irregularities of the Land. im using the tool sculp but i can not have a good results Thanks!!!

So redraw the entire building, got it, wow photogrammetry and modern tools sure are great, no more building things vertex by vertex like we've had to do since the 1970s... oh wait.

!!! Attention: to me the baking doesn’t works in any way. I have your exact same same settings, but the bake of the normals it is or completely flat, pf with just a very very few details, or it ha nothing. Leaving it with Extrusion at 0.1m and Max Ray Distance at 0. I am doing this for a job I’m having, and i really don’t know how to solve this 😢😭
