I don't see it as a man. Hence the voice being slightly asexual. The figure is deliberately featureless for the most part so that people dont feel a LACK of identity or familiarity with it. To me I think it's your ego. Looking at yourself in the mirror and your ego is saying hey, take off the mask you wear to work, take off the hat you wear with people you don't know. It's good to see the real you. Then imagine saying everything this character says to yourself while looking at your own reflection.
