if democracy is even why are every 18 year old voting is it fair if educated people to only have voting power or do we all so allow uneducated people to vote? Imagine 2 different politicians imagine one as a doctor he makes you eat certain foods and makes you stop doing what you like for 2 weeks. Now the other politician is a candy shop owner he make the doctor look bad by giving only giving temporary happiness at the cost of long term affects? Is it fair?

The song is actually (likely) about the Cuban missile crisis. A lot of people just focus on the surface level of the song, but don't connect the dots to understand something deeper. It is weird how passionate the dad is about the spider's life, and how dramatic the entire situation becomes, but it's like this because it has a deeper meaning. When you look closely at the video, there are visual clues to hint at this, like how the man at the beginning seems to be on Earth and then on the moon, representing the space race and tensions between the US and the USSR. The lyrics and even the title of the song have deeper meaning as well. The fact that it's set in North America was irrelevant information, and the video could have been the same if it was placed anywhere else. So, it is likely that the child represents the North American citizens terrified by the second red scare while the father represents JFK. The spider likely represents Cuba and / or the missiles in Cuba.

the scary off-putting appearance of the animation is a comparison to the sons fear of a spider based on its appearance, this video creates a unsettling feeling, despite its message being totally wholesome. you may think you are immune from prejudice but most peoples reaction upon seeing this video is horror, or disgust. the video is the spider and us the viewer are the scared boy filled with fear and uncertainty. the message of this song comes in the form of a caring father reminding his son not to judge based on appearance, to accept all of gods creations with open arms. this is truly art.
