I'm a coded welder in a past job so a few bits of metal to lift a little bit of metal out of a engine bay is no problem, no problem at all.

Really great to see you back, didn't know that you weren't well so pleased to hear that you're better now. Have you managed to look at my comments on rocker shafts that I sent in response to your video. I looked but I can't find it on your list. Looking forward to the future proposed videos.

Had a mini once that ran like shit forward misfiring and spluttering. But ran fine in reverse!! The old man said swap out the coil and hey presto all sorted and ran fine.

Just a note to your bad plugs, my Cooper refused to start on one morning and in the end was tracked down to 2 of the spark plugs had failed between the insulator and the electrode so all that appeared at the tip was a little white smoke and no spark......
@HREIRL2 жыл бұрын
Thats a really good example Douglas. Its amazing how the simple things can make such a difference
@michalchlup67582 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video, Paul. Glad you're feeling better now. Out of curiosity, what spark plugs brand do you generally recommend/use on Minis? (Considering quality)

How many times can a head be skimmed before you have to replace it?
@HREIRL2 жыл бұрын
Realistically there is a thickness in the deck of the head that needs to be mantianed some where around 5mm so a head can be skimmed down to that if compression is kept reasonable much after that you will see cracking and failure of gaskets
