I enjoyed this gun so much, I bought four of them. All are in 9mm, which was cheaper to buy, and easy to find. Purchased them all under $400, and one of them just recently. My family, and friends all enjoy shooting them at the range. I like the system it provides by pairing it with a Glock.

RWS is known to have a very hard primer. In a 1911, they function flawlessly (45ACP) but for a SW, Glock, or any striker fired gun, misfires are inevitable. Great accuracy!

I grabbed a Gen 2 (.40S&W) last week and had my first range day with it. The two things I noticed were how quiet it was (180 grain FMJ) and how much spent powder ended up on my hand. My trigger and middle fingers were pretty much black.

It's called vapor trail, sniper team spotters use a technique referred to as "trace", along with "splash", to assist the shooter in making adjustments. It would most likely be difficult to see vapor trail with a pistol caliber in person, but large caliber rifle projectiles are relatively easy to observe through a spotting scope, and are much more pronounced through a camera.

I added a green laser on the "pickatinny rail that kel- tech sales & mounted on lower fore- stock ". My green laser can be seen at 25 yds., 50 yds. & sometime at 100 yds. on a sunny day even, this helps so I don't have to use the iron sights just bring the butt to your shoulder to steady the green dot on target and pull the trigger! I can even shoot from the hip at 25 yards. I did have a trigger job done to bring down trigger pull from 11.5 lbs. down to to 4.5 lbs.

I have an early version of the Sub 2000 carbine (called the Sub 9). I bought it new several years ago and have gotten a lot of enjoyment from it. Mine takes the 9mm S&W 5900 series magazines and, except for the plastic grip panels, is all metal unlike the later Sub 2000. FWIW, back when I bought mine, the Sub 9s were almost twice as expensive as the Sub 2000s are today.

The fact that the charging handle is on the bottom of the stock is kinda weird but I think it's one of the biggest positives. It's rare to find a truly ambidextrous or left handed gun that doesn't break the bank. It's an elegant and unique solution to the problem.
