I've been making geese cakes this way for the last fifty years though I don't add sugar and seldom need gelatin. Mixing condensed milk and or chocolate with the cheese makes special occasion cheese cakes, chopped jelly/jello mixed in is ideal for children's birthday parties, added fruits like raspberries and passion fruit makes great summer cheesecake. Delicious but as old as the hills, and a family favourite for decades, originally from a child's cooking book it was given as an easy dessert for kids to make for after Sunday dinner. Just a biscuit/cookie base (ginger biscuits/cookies are great) and cream cheese like marscapone on top. Unbeatable, fast to make, no baking required.

I think there's a secret 7th love language that's just baking for the people I love because there's truly nothing more calming to me than being able to stand in my kitchen and bake a delicious sweet dessert where unlike breakfast, dinner, and lunch which are necessary being able to surprise someone with their favorite desert for no other reason than "I love you, you're my found family" manages to make me feel happier than anything. I made it just yesterday. As European I prefer in cheesecake a bit more heavy texture of the cream part this one is very soft and kind of fluffy thanks to the bigger amount of whipped cream. I enjoyed the top part, it tastes delicious actually! As I used different meassurements I think I could have use a bit more sugar and less of the lemon than adviced in the video. I used small amount of butter in the base so it does not hold super well unfortunately. For the first try I did a fine job though and husband liked it. Next I will try other cheesecakes in your KZbin channel. ❤️
