Some ppl use these so called "grinder moves" solely for the purpose of building an aesthetic body as that's their main aim. Not everyone desires or have the ability to increase athleticism. Grinder moves are also useful for those who are not able to do such sophisticated movements, such as the disabled and the seniors.......
@shahid85458 ай бұрын
Your missing the point. Disabled people likely can't do "grinder" moves either but what this is is a "workout smarter" type of mindset. Sure someone older may not be able to do all of these moves and some will but even trying to practice these moves for older people will help much more than typically run of the mill compound movements.

In order to better understand what Lee Weiland is saying, it would be useful to observe children and teenagers in parks, at the beach, at lakes or other recreation areas.

@@higherresolution4490 Yes, forms of unstructured "play" movement sessions make for a holistic overall physical exercise program. However, so-called "Grinder moves" does have its place in the exercise toolbox for those who are focused on achieving specifically aesthetic goals. For example, an ideal shoulder to waist ratio. Both can compliment each other to serve an individual's specific goal.

Man you're a genius. Your videos and insights are gold. I've been moving towards more longevity and well being through my trainings since I felt "standard and common" training wasn't doing me any good, I felt heavier, more stiff, less explosive, more in cline to get injured so since more than a year I progressively switched my mindset towards more sophisticated and unique skills, starting with animal flow. My martial arts practice also helped me to move towards this fresh mindset. I've been teaching and sharing some animal flow practice in a gym where most of the students are repeating the same superficial and ordinary moves (hiit, grossfits...) It takes time for people to get this, they'd rather keep doing the same things over and over again. Your videos help me to remain true to my instinct.

Great perspective, I fully agree. Although I try to do this alongside some of the grinder stuff.

Epic. Every video. The more popular this guy and these methods become, the more fire he’s going to attract from people still in the grinder mindset (like me.) … but he’s got religion (in more way than one haha!) and fluidity of not only verbal expression, but physical expression as well. These are well done, well thought out videos for somebody who really cares about what he’s doing. I hope his business and tribe grow far and wide - so I can show up at one IRL someday!

Is there an option on your programme for people with severely limited space to train in?
@gustavoburgongianotti55988 ай бұрын
Mr. Lee Weiland I admire you deeply; following your methods has been a life-changing process. I have been a gym enthusiast for the past few years and I honestly value the aesthetics the gym provide but, as you reiterated repeatedly, it takes a great tool on my articulations and general well-being. On one of the latest videos you recommended inverting the 20% to 80% ratio of training. These things have being said, I must ask: have you ever come across the training routine of the body builder Mike Menzer? He advocated training not very often for maximum hypertrophy and I thought "perfect, I'll lift sparsely like Mike Menzer and in between I'll workout like Lee Weiland teaches; best of two worlds" Do you have anything to say on that respect, Mr Weiland? Your instruction means a lot. I think this question might be pertinent to several of your viewers.
