It only makes sense that animals would go into labor during the worst weather. Think about it; most predators lay low during bad weather so if an animal has their babies then, there is less likelihood of them being bothered by predators during childbirth. So bad weather is a natural time to have a baby.

These people are LOUSY caretakers. The animals, ALL of them, are TOO HUNGRY. Then they blame the chickens for NO EGGS and the donkeys for HEAD BUTTS when the COLD and HUNGER is suffering these animals. FOOD and BEDDING is critical in their frigid weather, and they FAIL to provide it. They act stingy and clueless.

Kyah is so darn cute and very kind. She looks to have grown up some, seems to be taller. Kora sure is starting to show, I think her milk will come in more just before she’s ready to have the puppies and her body will adjust so they are able to deliver the puppies. My ExWifes large breed dog when she had puppies they helped her. I think she had 14/15 but only 12 made during delivery. Also she didn’t let Dad get close to the puppies for a little while. So that’s something to keep and eye on. Will be waiting for video of the good news when she has them.

Lgds think for themselves. I learned the hard way. They will learn but they choose to listen when they. I was getting so frustrated with my dogs until I order a book on the breed. Great Pyrenees are bad about making decisions, but Anatolias are worse.

You can certainly try, and I’ve seen one Great Pyrenees obey her owners, but she’s not an LGD. She’s a pet. Bless cora's heart she is looking big. She will stop eating 24 to 48 hours before she gives birth. And her temp will drop a little too. Smeegle was a good cameraman! Kevin this time of year it is normal for chickens not to lay. Weather is up and down days are short. Their bodies need a break after their first year of laying. They do best on 18 - 20% protein. Mine get their break and continue to lay for 6 years plus. Production should pick up in couple of weeks weather permitting. The geese may stress them out also.

You definitely need to do critter cam more. I’d love to see Skeeter do it but I’m sure it’ll be very bouncy because he is just a fun loving bouncy dog. I still think the chickens are laying in the nest boxes because of the geese, I think they are laying in hidden areas of the farm away from the geese. You yourself has mentioned the geese gets upset at anyone else coming around their nesting area. Did you turn that water off? Set your timer on your watch…. Put one of your cameras on the emu feeder, I would think you’re feeding something else as well. It was lovely to see Rachel and Kyah, tell Kaleb hi and we miss seeing him but I totally understand his wanting to not be filmed. Stay safe and warm with this arctic blast coming, I pray you don’t lose power and all of your animals stay safe…. No births during the bad weather but it seems like it causes it.
